I’m having the same issue….I am gearing up to make a big order and I know there will be a B2G1 Free sale announced shortly thereafter.

Target needs to carry more hardcover books. Paperbacks are gross.

My store still has a vinyl/CD section too. I'm anxiously waiting for Olivia Rodrigo's CD tomorrow so I'm glad Target still carries CDs since Best Buy and Walmart no longer do.

I’d say 1/3 of our books are hardcover. Almost all new releases are hardcover. Then there’s 5 main shelves of books, of which 2 are all hardcover. The Ya section is mixed, but a fair amount of hardcover. Then you have non-fiction/cookbooks, which are mostly hardcover. I would say the ratio of hardcover to paperback is higher at Target than Barnes and Noble by a considerable margin.

Historically, I feel Target always does a B2G1F sale on Father's Day weekend so just a few more weeks of waiting.

I prefer hardcover to paperback but I'm not opposed to buying paperback if that's what's available. Here are the two that I bought in store.

Found some boxes of “upcoming” releases. Looks like we are getting the old Rocketman steel book. Saving Private Ryan on 4K is coming back for Father’s Day.

Isn't the "Rocketman" steel the Wal-Mart version?

Could be. Target has received previously-exclusive steelbooks from BBY, so it's likely to be that version.

I'd rather they bring back the $10 Father's Day Blu-Ray sales.

I’m nervously waiting for the target sale. Partly because I want it to come and partly out of fear for when it comes since I have like 16 items in my cart for it.

Stores should have at least two of these this week.

Target has a cartwheel for 15% off Chaos Walking (4K, Blu, and DVD). They also have it online for sale at $22.99.

Solid deal! Not to be a party pooper, but I highly recommend renting this one first. Thought I’d be really into it, but I redboxed it this morning, and... meh. Happy for people that are fans though!

Mine said the same but had three 4K, about six BD, and six DVD.

Random. I just wanted to say how how much I really hope that Target can somehow become the "Official" store to carry the U.S. "exclusive" Steelbooks. These things are contracted, and Best Buy has had the road to themselves for the most part for many years now. I know all of the retailers have all but abandoned physical media in stores. I just think that Best Buy has done such a poor job with the Steelbooks this past year, that they don't really want to do it anymore anyway. They are just contractually obligated now. I hope Target throws in a large bid in the near future and can pick up BB's slack.
