Default Aerodude's House of Blu's, Music, & Film Reviews

Mainly to show the Main PSW10 & SubDude, T90e's, & Monitor 30 Surrounds with New Wall Mounts (all listed and/or linked in my Sig) - and some newer shots of the living space. I plan on getting "Raceways" next weekend at Home Depot so I am already aware of the fact that the speaker wires & sub cable need to be hidden.

This is the Gallery with the Updated pics. More will come when I get my New Foam 24x24x1" Panels in Monday and install them during the week if I have time or next weekend w/the Raceways. I'll update the Galllery then as well.

lol - I have 2 in the room, and 1 in my bedroom -- I have no more room (!!) so I may look into getting something larger down the road. For Now, the TV stand/shelves will do for excess DVD storage. For now...

Quick question - does the subdude make a big difference - I am thinking about getting one if it does.

in the limited time I've had to actually Really test it (with a good BLU), I believe it has. I've only had it a few days but between my 2nd (p/time) job, & the NBA/NHL playoffs & MBL (Red Sox), I haven't had Proper time to really listen to it to give it a Dedicated test. Dang Playoffs! Lol.

Default Dvd Racks

Hey guys,
As one guy mentioned here, I prob. need a larger (taller preferably) DVD rack as space is limited. I was thinking the best place would be to the right of the right front speaker near the curtain. Anyone know of a good place (IKEA?) that might hold 2-300 or so, that isn't a Ton of $$$ ? Thanks.

Nice job dude! Looks like the mounts were easy to install. I'm really happy to see you get not only your gear together, but to also address the aesthetics of the room as well. I'm sure you'll report back on the benefits of not only the subdude, but the wall treatments as well when they come in. Looking forward to your report.

Thx -- Yea, I just need to find a time when I'm Home when my Celtics or Bruins (Playoffs!!!) are Not on (!), so that I can Really give a listen to and see/feel how the SubDude is working, so to speak. The Beige Foam panels are In Transit now (UPS site: "Out for Delivery" ), and my Rec'g guy has been notified to let me know when they arrive. I'll try to get them up between today & Wed as I work tonite & Tues nite so not much time there.

At times yes, but not in this case! They came in, a bit lighter in color (ordered BEIGE -- what came in looks like a Light Purple - ??) - which isn't Horrid to look at but it def. doesn't seem like what I ordered, or thought I had. Oh well, I'll try to put a few pieces tomorrow after work and see how it looks. I already sent an email to them letting them know about the color issue, and that I may have to Return for either Brown or Burgundy.

Default More "tweaks" done, pics soon!

Good Day Folks!
I should have updated pics any day now, maybe by tonite. On Friday I finished up the Raceways for wire management (except for behind the TV Rack, & I'll be using the "Forsberg21" idea of a Black fabric draped down behind it to help "Hide" the slight wire mess). Took pics of those yesterday. Also Sunday I Bi-Amped my front T90e's & installed Banana Plugs All around, very clean look - took pics of those as well.

Lastly, started with the fabric coverings on my foam panels. They're 24x24 so I cut the pieces to 26x26 and for now, they are just tucked in Behind & seem to be holding in place no problem. I'm SURE some here will not like the design or color, or whatever, but remember this: I Live There, and this is not a Home Fashion site; it's a Bluray site. Lol. The point is to cover up the "Blah-ness" factor of looking at foam IMO. Many here use foam as is, and that's fine. I don't judge! - So i'll try to do some more pieces during the week but the 1 or 2 pics i'll have are just to give an idea of the process.

Once i'm done with the Fabric covers, that "Should" be all for the time being. Having watched MAX PAYNE on Blu last week, I was like with how it sounded & looked, but mainly the Audio was Killer. My Center has been upgraded to a CS2 & mounted Above the TV (see link below, great mount!) & works much better in that location IMO.

** EDIT: The pics will be posted in the 2nd set of HT pics here - "More pics of my modest Theater room" **

Yea, mostly somewhat Minor tweaking thankfully - thanks for the Banana Plugs info & Link - The pics coming will show the Fabric, & will show the Uncovered foam pieces as well, as a comparison. I'll try to get them developed tonite & post them here when I get home.

Major Thanks to yourself, along with DonRSD, Driver King, Big Daddy, JJxiv1215, Audiophile_at_Birth, Beta Man, Liquidice, CrazyBLUE, Tilapiah6 (still need to try the Harmony icons info you sent!), 209Mason, Aramis109, Brett_Day, Fireman325, Mr. HiDef, to name but a Few who have helped Invaluably these past months.

Default Updated - June 09' Pics!

20-some odd pics under my June 09' Pics - Enjoy & be kind. Lol - Some of the pics may be a Tad blurry but most came out decent. Leave comments in the Gallery, ask questions, rate me as you wish. I'm not looking for all 10's, but I gave it my best shot with what I had (very limited $$$$, so-so disposable camera, & limited home fix-it experience!)
