These posters are good but why are they so dark? I get that they want to film to be more dark in tone, but don't make all your posters dark and hard to see too.

Not that it's acceptable for her to kill, but that'd be kinda interesting.

[Show spoiler]Plot: In an alternate universe, at least a few of the Scream murderers (assuming they're real ) are still alive...either in prison, escaped/released or never even caught by police. They start to be killed off one by one, along with anyone "bad" close to them. Two are originally thought to have committed suicide (due to either guilt for "their" actions or trauma from discovering what "someone else" did...neither is true). Sydney claims that "Ghostface" is after her next in an effort to erase history. At one moment, a frenemy, who is actually kinda her best friend, is attacked and then framed for all the present murders. Sydney is ultimately revealed as the killer, there is a big showdown, and the movie begins to conclude with her in a mental hospital. There, she has learned to draw and paint images of Ghostface. She also has an obsession with watching horror films and discussing murders during her group therapy. Sydney is briefly excused (someone allegedly asked for her) and one more person ends up dead (killed off screen) once she returns. Before the screen goes completely black, we see her in a room (perhaps humming the theme of a famous horror flick) with quick shots of an image (displayed on a desk) depicting the final murder and a mask as she closes a drawer that has art supplies right next to it. lol

Alternate ending: It is revealed that Sydney was the killer in each movie all along and it is apparent some of the events that may have taken place were simply just a dream/her imagination. Any remaining questions are up to the viewers' interpretation. Many will be left confused. lol Alternate ending will be exclusive to the digital release only.

Scream 4 did NOTHING with Gale and Dewey. They were just there for the sake of being there and had no impact on the story. Regardless of the size of their roles, at least Scream 2022 seems to be using the legacy cast with purpose. I get the feeling they have actually advanced and I’m curious to see where they are all at at this point in their lives and how they have changed. Sid has been great in all 4 movies so far but the Gale and Dewey we got in Scream 4 felt tired and like shadows of their former selves. And at least this marketing campaign is highlighting the fact that the audience loves these characters and wants to see them no matter what.

Still better than Scream 3. IMO.

I already know who Ghostface is due to leaks and footage shown. Still excited to find out the motive and to have another Scream film to add to the marathon. These movies are so comfy watching back to back. To be honest this looks better than 3 & 4 and I'm glad we got another movie. MTV show was insulting. The Sam character looks like a good addition to the franchise.

Considering Ghostface is on the poster, yeah, the whole "The Killer Is On This Poster" thing checks out.

I'm going to laugh if the "Killer is on this poster" isn't any of the cast that you see on there, and the person in the Ghostface costume ends up being someone else.

Cant wait for this movie though, just another month to go.

Apart from the original trio I don't recognise any one of the 82 faces on that poster.

And if the credits are anything to go by the OT are merely guest stars.

Wow, spoilers on that poster!

Can't wait! A month to go, if you count the preview showings. This'll be my first Scream movie in theaters, since I was too young when 1-3 came out, and for some reason missed 4.

I'm sure lots of people know, but since I've been trying to avoid spoilers, a thought occurred to me- do we know if the Chrome Ghostface mask is the actual killer, or could it be from the next Stab movie within the film? Chrome Ghostface with a Flamethrower sounds like something the notoriously bonkers Stab films would do. Especially since you see the person's shoulder, and wouldn't that be a dead giveaway for the identity of the actual killer? I could be way off, but it would be fun to see more from the Stab movies.

I can't help but think

[Show spoiler]the OT cast are going to get killed off in the first 20 minutes, and reveal that their part is one really long pre-title sequence.
