Wow! Didn't see that coming. Absolutely wonderful. It is releases like this and Anna May Wong that makes Kino so special.

The splendid announcement of the release of the Boris Karloff Mr Wong films is yet another reason why it would be so nice to have Warner finally work with Kino. Warner's got so many great B-movie detective series on hand like The Saint and The Falcon. At least now that Kino and Sony are on good terms we may eventually get series like Boston Blackie and The Lone Wolf on blu.

The Mr. Moto Peter Lorre sets would fit well with Kino, if they could get a hold of them.

Those are with Fox...meaning now Disney. Those are gonna be really hard to get BUT if Kino can do a deal and get them I think they'd certainly do well.

I never did and if I did it was a mistake, Saigon (1947) not legally cleared for home video release.

We tried to include the Keye Luke one, but it's not legally cleared for home video release, at least not by MGM.

The rights are with Fox, we may've released a Mr. Moto set, if we did another Fox deal, but currently Disney/Fox are not interested in any new deals.

The Hitchcock collection set still came with a slipcover? I might place another order just for that one in that case!

Alas, no. Murder! (1930) wasn't a part of this current KL sale. I did splurge on one title by paying $17.97 for The Devil Strikes At Night. However, I will place Murder! on my wish list and snag it sometime in the near future.

Excellent! Mr. Wong starring Boris Karloff. This is essential Karloff! Being a huge fan, I will be picking up this set. Definitely more of Boris on blu-ray is a good thing.

Even though Lugosi’s Monogram films are well known, Karloff also spent some time on Poverty Row. Difference was that Karloff didn’t stay there long.
