I have the "photo-reconstruction version" on Dvd but would love to see the actual film...
It's funny how LAM was nicely vaulted away and still got lost (due to a fire I hear), wheras Nosferatu was ordered destroyed and yet has always been with us!

There are surviving Theda Bara films? I thought I recalled hearing everything was lost.

Some of the ones you listed are with Paramount (Sorry, Wrong Number, No Man of Her Own, Dark City, The Lawless, No Man of Her Own, The Desperate Hours, and I believe Short Cut to Hell and The Scarlet Hour). Parole, Inc. was distributed by Eagle-Lion. It may be with Sony? Chicago Confidential, which is actually with MGM, is in the forthcoming Film Noir: The Dark Side of Cinema VII.

Rafows listed a bunch of possibilities in the noir thread. Combining the two lists, here are some possibilities:

[Show spoiler]1948 x 1
The Saxon Charm
A Woman’s Vengeance

1949 x 1
Chicago Deadline
City Across the River (this is great but perhaps not likely)
Illegal Entry
Manhandled (this was a Pine-Thomas co-production so it may be with Paramount)
The Story of Molly X
Undertow (this seems most likely as it was released on DVD as part of Dark Crimes: Film Noir Thrillers, Volume 2)

1950 x 5
Borderline (this is in the public domain and was only distributed by Universal so I doubt they have materials on it)
I Was a Shoplifter
One Way Street
Outside the Wall
South Sea Sinner
Spy Hunt
Undercover Girl

1955 x 1
Hold Back Tomorrow
Running Wild

1956 x 1
Behind the High Wall
Edge of Hell

1957 x 5
Istanbul
Man Afraid
Mister Cory
The Night Runner
Slaughter on Tenth Avenue
The Tattered Dress

1958 x1
Appointment with a Shadow
Girls on the Loose
Live Fast, Die Young
Step Down to Terror

I have a friend who's kind of obsessed with Theda, and he's written a couple of mystery novels where she's the main character.

He has a dream of one day finding a copy of Cleopatra and selling it for a million dollars. I've tried to break it to him that he'd be lucky to get $10,000, but he has his dreams.

There is also a two minute fragment from Salome that is instructive in that it gives us a nice glimpse of how Bara "vamped" in her more historical or period Fox roles.

Updating based on Kino Lorber Insider’s reply (and earlier, solid speculation from Zygmunt22). Once again these are possibilities (and not necessarily the only ones):

I Was a Shoplifter
One Way Street
Outside the Wall
South Sea Sinner
Spy Hunt
Undercover Girl

1955 x 1
Hold Back Tomorrow
Running Wild

1956 x 1
Behind the High Wall
Edge of Hell
I've Lived Before (Zygmunt22: "probably too much of a genre stretch")

1957 x 5
The Great Man (this actually may be 1956)
Man Afraid
The Night Runner
The Tattered Dress (all but confirmed, per SanCarolina59)

1958 x1
Appointment with a Shadow
Flood Tide (1958)
Girls on the Loose
Live Fast, Die Young
Step Down to Terror
Voice in the Mirror (Zygmunt22 again: "another, possibly excessive, genre stretch)
Legal issues
Chicago Deadline (1949)
Illegal Entry (1949)
Istanbul (1957)
Manhandled (1949) (this was a Pine-Thomas co-production)
Slaughter on Tenth Avenue (1957)

Not in a set because it's in color
Mister Cory (1957)

(SanCarolina59? BarnDoor?)

Since I just spent a minute looking at/thinking about Paul Henreid features, I wonder if So Young, So Bad (1950, released through United Artists) is with MGM.

Appointment with a Shadow is from 1957...and wasn't Istanbul already ruled out by KL Insider (legal issues?)

As for Appointment with a Shadow, AFI has it as November 1958 with a bunch of sources cited.
