Whomever it is, they'll need to overpay for them and also, releasing the lesser ones on UHD would be a mistake. If we had renewed the rights, we would've released Black Sunday and A Bay of Blood on UHD, the only two were willing to take a chance on. The others are not big enough sellers. Our MGM AIP releases of PLANET and BLACK SABBATH has outsold most of the others by at least 2-1 and some cases, 3,4,5 to 1, they both also outsold Bay of Blood. The only one with better numbers than the MGM titles is Black Sunday, but it was released 2-3 years before.

Since, The Cat Creeps was also remade, I wouldn't be surprised if Universal did the same thing.

We're planning to release a bunch of MGM titles in August, so those won't be added to the schedule or the website, till we're ready to announce them. Most of them will not include any extras, except for maybe two.

I'm adding some Code Red/Scorpion-KL co-releases to the August schedule on HTF later today.

Whats the timetable on Rawhead Rex 4k?
They already have the 4k scan from the prior release, just plop that onto a UHD and send to Mexico for replication, no?

We had to do a new scan, the previous was not a 16bit one. We're hoping to release both RHR and Underworld in October.

The Arrow UK version of this is region free. I got it the KL BD of Running Scared the other day. Haven’t seen it in so long that I barely remember it & am looking forward to revisiting it.

I believe the Italian version on that release is an upscale. I'm hoping we get something better in the future.

Would you ever consider a UHD for Black Sabbath, or are sales not strong enough? It's arguably his most gorgeous looking film and it would look stunning in 4K!

I don't think so, the overall numbers were better than Planet of the Vampires, but still not strong enough for UHD.

Anyone know which of these are Fox/Disney titles? I feel like those are the most important titles to jump on since the Bava titles may see re-releases if someone is willing to pay their high costs, and Kino said some of these will see re-releases from them (Any guesses?), but it sounds like this could be the final chance to grab some of the Fox/Disney releases unless something changes in the future and they decide to start licensing out again.
