Actually being the geek I am even a dvd-r archive release of Youth Runs Wild and Mademoiselle Fifi would have me jumping for joy.
As a Bonita Granville fan, other than the Nancy Drew films, I’d love a double feature of Youth Runs Wild/Hitler’s Children.

After 2021's last announcement I wrote up a list of twenty titles I thought had a chance to turn up this year, leaving out some(Raintree County, Goldwyn titles) that have some obstacles. Besides those they're the ones I'd most like to see coming:

Ryan's Daughter
Around the World in 80 Days
Cheyenne Autumn
Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo
Marie Antoinette
Random Harvest
King Solomon's Mines
Lili
Julius Caesar
Little Women
(1949)
Somebody Up There Likes Me
The Old Man and the Sea
The Adventures of Don Juan
Johnny Belinda
The Three Musketeers
Blossoms in the Dust
Anthony Adverse
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Top Hat
Romeo and Juliet
(1936)

So far, only Musketeers has been released, but I'm hopeful a few more are in the pipeline.

Around the World in 80 Days (1956) - is this even doable?

I've read that the sources are all a mess, with a capital M. In tatters and shreds from what I've heard.

Would love a bluray upgrade of The Last Gangster (1937). Edward G. Robinson and James Stewart!

I'd like a collection of the, I believe, five Bob Hope shorts he made at Vitaphone. Then as extras throw in a couple other Vitaphone two-reelers, maybe a couple with Jack Haley of Wizard of Oz fame.

Brothers Grimm proves they can pull off difficult large format restorations. The big question is whether or not it's possible to include both the Todd-AO 30fps version and the "general release" 24fps version. All shot on 65mm, but it seems like the 24fps version used a lot of the same footage or outtakes since there's non-dialogue shots with visible slowdown.

There's also a ton of material at the Library of Congress like behind-the-scenes footage, the deleted original prologue, and a few other deleted scenes. Back in 2004, it was probably unthinkable to transfer the deleted material from the 65mm trims (only the reel of random outtakes was included and in the wrong frame rate).

I'd expect it, along with the rest of the MIA Best Picture winners to be priorities.

The Broadway Melody would likely be one of their "from the best surviving elements" masters, as would Cimarron. I recall The Great Ziegfeld looking pretty good on DVD, as did The Life of Emile Zola. The former is a Warner film, so better chance of the camera negative surviving.

Around the World in 80 Days is one my biggest Warner wants. I'd take a release from a lesser source if necessary at this point.

The last I remember hearing from George and co. about three years ago is that while 80 Days would be a major project, involving searching around and bringing in elements from all over, they would eventually get to it. That's certainly better than what we kept hearing about Raintree County, which seems like even more of a headache, and I'm sure the Oscar win adds to the pedigree, so it seems to at least have a chance. It is admittedly a far more difficult title than anything else on my list, but I like to believe there's a chance they're working on it as we speak, as silly as that sounds.

Warner Archive hasn't given Edward G. Robinson enough love.

My wishlist:

Five Star Final
Two Seconds
The Little Giant
Bullets or Ballots
Kid Galahad
A Slight Case of Murder
Larceny, Inc.

I'm surprised that The Jazz Singer (1927) with Al Jolson is still readily available considering it having several "black face" segments. I still have the digibook Blu-ray that came out.

I'm confident in thinking I haven't checked out Phantom of the Rue Morgue before, but having checked it out I'm adding another voice to wanting to see a WAC Blu-ray release of it. And the 3-D element adds further interest to wanting to see a Blu-ray release.
