I experienced a loose disc #7 but everything else was ok. I was a little disappointed that they didnt include at least an episode guide.

Default Offtopic

I know this is a complete offtopic, but I'd really like your help from those who already have Lost seasons 1 or 2.

I am interested in getting the LOST seasons 1 and 2 since it's region free and it won't be released here in Spain until nearly november, and although I prefer the original audio track, my family is lost-addicted and non-english speakers, so I'd like to know wether the spanish track included in the edition is Latin spanish (american) or Castillian, the spanish spoken in here.

I'd be really thankful if you could help me with this.

Thanks so much in advance.

BEWARE: If you go to buy it and it sounds like a maraca, guess what it's not ads sliding around or anything on these, the case is broke
Woah! They're on sale for $39 each @ BB? The website sez $49 for each of the first two seasons! Guess I'm goin to BB on my way home!

Those latches are extremely fragile. I've encounted broken ones before on some of the slim 3-disc cases that The Dark Knight and Get Smart come in.

It's unlikely that the American release would include a Castillian language track. It's probably Latin Spanish. There are Spanish subtitles but I don't know if that helps.

I've had the same problems, probably 60% of my flippy tray elite cases have arrived with hubs that don't hold on at least one disc or broken hinges/spines

My hypothesis is that the plastic is too soft/thin to hold up to the torque of transit, but the company that makes the cases has been less than responsive to my inquiries (which were originaly just trying to get new cases since no one has them for sale)

Save $20 when you buy both. $49-$10 each = $38.

I got both seasons from Amazon and only Disc 7 of Season One was loose. The others were fine.

You start over every season from the series premire and watch each season?

That's pretty damn impressive. Quite a time commitment there. 42 mins an episode * roughly 25 episodes for S1, 2, and 3. Wasn't 4 shortened to 16 episodes due to strike? Same with S5?

Either way, 100 episodes, give or take, is like 75 hours.

For anyone who got the boxes, could you post a pic with the 4 spines side-by-side? Thanks a lot!

I always shake DVD's and Blus before I buy them. If they're the last ones, I'll usually ask the clerk if we can open them up to see if the discs are fine. I tell them that if the discs are fine then I'll buy it. Recently did this and it was just a paper insert that I heard.

Unfortunately, some stores won't let you do this. The only store that gave me any trouble was Wal-Mart. They said I'd have to buy it first, then return it if the discs were scratched.

Both my S1 and S2 were fine from Amazon. I don't get why people are saying they are so different than S3 and S4. They all look the same to me, except for the S3 outer box which is like a book and the others are all slip covers. I have them on my self without the slip covers and for the most part the spines match up fine. S4 is a little slimmer and/or S1 and S2 and a little wider but that would be because the disc counts are different. However, the spine width difference is negligible.
