No kidding. I actually had a friend offer to buy mine for $500 more than I paid for it when Sony stopped making them. He wanted it for the same reason I did: kids. Thats no joke! I walked into my living room one day to find my 2 year old scratching at screen on my brand new 40" Samsung LCD with some hard pointy plastic toy. My girlfriend caught him again less than a week later. That little sucker is hanging up on the wall now (the TV, not the kid. No need to call social services!)

Toddlers + HDTV = Impending Disaster!
