It might be less weird if you get the reference (there was a Family Guy clip where the Emperor is talking and utters in his growly voice, "something something something Daaaark Siide." Since that's sort of what he does in ROTJ.)

I imagine if you liked "Blue Harvest" (that title was also an homage to the "under wraps" title of ROTJ during filming in), you'll like this.

I think they screwed up making Cleavland R2D2 in bluharvest. Yeah his "beep beep boop boops" where funny, but joe is in a wheelchair, it would have been better to make him R2 plus Cleavland was tailor made to play Lando

last i heard they made Mort black and he's playing lando in this new one, i wish they had retconed it so cleavland could play Calrissian

I wonder who Meg will play though, i'm thinking the wampa or one of those things that are trying to crush 3P0 before chiewie savehim, lol

Good question, i mean they obviously made star wars references and gags throughout the years but i always thought it would be so cool to see 3 episodes devoted to spoofing the clasic trilogy simpsons style

I remember having an issue of star wars insider that featured the simpsons as a cover story with a cool "simpsonised" drawing of luke and vader's bespin fight (with bart as Luke and homer as Vader) and thinking, why has this never been done as an episode?

Nice, yep thats the artwork, i didn't know they reused it (i avoided the compilation DVD's and went with season sets)

But am i not right in that you see that picture and think, how ****ing cool would it be to see a simpsons star wars spoof

Just because it doesn't look as good as other HD content doesn't mean that it's upscaled SD. And just because it's made in 4:3 doesn't mean it cannot be HD.

Can you cite a source that indicates the material was made in ONLY 480p and upscaled to 1080p?
