Even with the new numbers it is still an uncomfortably close race. That isn't saying much for blu-ray when there are fewer HD-DVD players and even fewer movies available. Something is not right here. HD-DVD sales seem even stronger though the player sales are diminishing.

We all expect to make great gains for Christmas, well, so will HD-DVD. As I said before, the majority of people will wait to adopt and DVD will enjoy another win. This war hurts everyone!
