So since we've been talking so much about "sales", "year over year" junk, "the future", blah blah blah, I compiled all the monthly NPD sales data (that I could find) into a graph, mostly because it's interesting to see the trends. Enjoy!

Ya I can do that. I'll try to do it before leaving...but I shoudl maybe do a little work while I'm at work first

Haha thats cool man, do what you have to do. I just figured that it'd be best to show the whole picture of NPD sales.

Ok done. Might take a little bit for the new graph to pop up again. I'm going to try and clean it up a bit and post a new one later, it's pretty cluttered looking. This'll do for now though

Well that graph looks a little sh!tty for Sony. It's consoles are pretty much constantly the bottom 3 all the way along

Well, we all know that Sony system's aren't doing well in the US, so I'm not sure what you'd expect to see.

Just confirming what everyone knew, being that the PS3 and the 360 were neck to neck or situation getting better for the PS3 until the price drop combined with GeoW2 at which point the 360 took off and the PS3 crashed for the holiday...

If Sony can do the same thing MS did last year, combining a price drop (possibly a new PS3 model) and a good AAA lineup (*still hoping for GT5 along with Uncharted 2), we will see the opposite in favor of the PS3 imo.

Ya I'm just confirming what other already knew, this is a good complete source of information in case someone gets into a "conversation" about sales somewhere on the web. Most notable to me is the general downturn of every console (except the DS ) this year.
