To rmishael re ice age problem: I have a brand new LG blu-ray player and have had the same problem with Ice Age 3. The first one I bought, all sound stopped when the movie itself began--up to that point all was well. I installed the update as suggested, and then the sound on the movie was abrasive and garbled. I returned the disc to Wal-Mart. The same thing happened on the 2nd disc, and on the 3rd (I think Wal-Mart is tired of seeing me come in to return that disc). I've now given up and just watch this movie on the DVD that came with the set. I'm new to the blu-ray world and have only two other movies in blu-ray so far. Both of those play perfectly. Before I bought the two additional blu-rays, I contacted LG, who said I'd need to send the new player in for repairs. However, since the other two movies work just fine, I'm wondering if it's just something with Ice Age 3, not my player? Maybe some setting needs to be adjusted for that disc only, something I simply don't know enough about.
