Default It's a firmware issue
Facing this issue with my LG LHB-977 HTIB. Spoke to an LG rep today. He said they are aware of the audio issue with the Ice Age discs. They are working on a firmware update although they don't have a date when this would be available.
Scary when you think about it. Newer discs with newer audio/video features and the blu-ray players are behind with their updates. Price that we pay for newer technology I guess.
