ok here's what i have learned after talking to LG tech support again. This movie only came out in 7.1 for english. He says therefore the player must be 7.1 also (unless you want to watch it in 5.1 french/spanish/etc..). Therefore, if movies start coming out in 7.1 only, in the future, as did this iceage 3 movie, and you have a 5.1 receiver....you are SCREWED. WTG technology.
