So you basically like that crappy Life Force over Return of the Jedi? Hmmmm..I know Jedi is not the best of the series but shessh with some of those choices you would think Jedi would have made the list. But hey its your list

1. Star Wars
2. Alien
3. 2001: A Space Odyssey
4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
5. Aliens
6. E.T.
7. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
8. Planet of the Apes
9. Terminator 2
10. Terminator
11. Blade Runner
12. The Abyss
13. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
14. 2010: The Year We Make Contact
15. The Thing
16. Contact
17. The Fly
18. Jurassic Park
19. The Matrix
20. Robocop
21. Twelve Monkeys
22. Primer
23. The Dead Zone
24. District 9
25. Moon

Damn that was hard. I feel bad about even putting any of 2009's classics in there because only time will tell how well they hold up, but I really felt that Moon could definitely stand up in the same list as Blade Runner, and District 9 in the same list as Planet of the Apes.

EDIT: And YES, I know the deadline has passed, I just felt like adding my list.

It's right there at #3 in the 2000s. Is there a problem with the scroll bar or something?

Oops, that comment was meant for the King. Mea culpa...

Same here.

This is a lot harder then the horror one was to predict.

I am going to take a guess and say that 2001: A Space Odyssey will take the number one spot.

God Willing

I think Star Wars IV and V were split up a bit (more V than IV it seemed), so that would seem to defuse either one from threatening 2001 but i could be wrong

It would seem that its either 2001 or Empire but you are right: Episode IV might have just split the vote enough for 2001 to get the nod.
