The regular first run theater in town charges $4.50 for the first showing of the day. They call it the "Early Bird Showing". Then at the concession stand, you can get a bucket of popcorn and a large soda for $10. The bucket has a free refill on it, but oddly the soda doesn't. And it was brought up in another thread that they would be upping prices for 3D movies, they didn't at our theater. 3D is the price of the ticket with an additional $2.25. So, when I went to see Avatar 3D, I paid $4.50 + $2.25 = $6.75. When we went to see Alice in Wonderland 3D, it was before the regular prices kicked in and it was $5.50 for the matinee + $2.25 = $7.75. Regular price is $8 after the matinee is over.
