I'm still somewhat disappointed no one mention if this version will be CIH friendly though.

Pay no attention to those silly reviews. There are amusing, but the movie is a great feast for the senses. You can always rent it first before buying.

No. Why would you think that? As I've said, I think it's a solid release. Just not the peak of perfection because of a few minor issues.

And, as I said earlier, what I saw and heard was good enough to make it worth a purchase had it not been barebones.

You guys seem to think I'm calling this release crap. Absolutely not. If someone told me the ultimate edition looks and sounds identical to this one, I'd buy it without hesitation with no consideration to my nitpicks.

As for my fastidious OCD comment, I was being self deprecating.

but you'd think they would want the reviews out there

ah well, id like to have decided if im getting it by release date rather than say a few days or weeks later :/
