I really the movie. I really do. It looks great, it sounds great. James Cameron really created something special. I can't really complain about the story. Despite the argument that it is too similar to other movies, I didn't see it that way.

The only thing that was unsettling to me was that the image was too perfect. The use of computer-generated images was so perfect; I couldn't tell where it was used. (I know the entire movie is CGI, but it was done so well it never felt like I was watching a completely CGI film).

This is an animated movie though. Capturing the performances almost entirely with motion capturing isn't new or innovative. Video games have been doing that for a years. And if we're comparing video games and movies, based on the use of motion-captured performance, Metal Gear Solid 4 is much better than Avatar (story, character, etc.)

Just saying piracy, well..... quality is not a word i associate with "the scene", if your a member somewhere that quality is the norm then kudo's to you i guess

Well, Lord of the Rings has dominated my life since I was around 5 when my mum read them to me (I have read them so many times since, and the movies where just icing on the already iced cake).

Why the dislike for Sam Worthington?

It could have been much worse...like Matt Damon.

Matt Damon can act, but I also don't really have a problem with Sam Worthington. He's no amazing actor, but there are plenty of others who are far worse.
