I just tried it in IE6 and it's working fine for me. What I would guess the problem might be is the javascript, try going to http://liblearn.osu.edu/tutor/jscript.html and see if you get a popup alert (if javascript is enabled).

Another alternative might be to run a portable version of a web browser from an USB flash drive/memory stick without having to install anything on the system to run it:

We have just upgraded the forum search function both when it comes to functionality and speed. You can now search for shorter terms such as "ps3", "7.1", etc and even two-letter words such as "BD" and get matches. It's also possible to do phrase searches using quotations, so "Iron Man" only gets you exact phrase matches and won't match "The Man with the Iron Mask".

Should work on your PS3 now, not sure if this fix also fixes the problem with the PSP but I'm guessing so. Let me know if you still have problems.

Can the individual user please have the ability to turn off certain categories that appear under our names in posts, when they have no intention of using it. I understand people want to show off their Home Theater Gallery score, but personally I have no intention of using that anytime soon. It would be nice to give each user the ability to cover it up on display.

I am not a big fan of the changes. It simply is going to end up being who has the most friends on the site, instead of who is providing the best information in each post. I do understand the attraction of community building to the site's creators.

I was playing around with the forum styles, and I have a suggestion. I like the Blu-ray style overall, but I would like another version that's wider than the default. My monitor is 1900x1200, so, in this style, I have about 5 inches on either side of the main window. With the other styles (Classic and Default), the entire width of my monitor is used.

I don't care for using the whole width for posts (there are too many one-line posts), but a little wider than the default Blu-ray style would be nice.

There's also a reputation log visible for moderators, so all "friendly voting" will be cleaned

The Similar threads feature is 100% a vBulletin feature, so you have to blame them... (we have just made the whole search back-end faster) most of the time it will give you pretty good matches, but in some cases (like yours) it gives quite irrelevant matches... hacking into the details of how this work and make it better is possible, but quite time consuming, so I'm afraid we don't have time to fix this at the moment, sorry...

quick question about the search function.

i used to do a search for "capt. america" for example and it would pull the main thread.

but when i try now, it doesn't pull any matches for some reason.

i'm trying the advanced search and do a thread title only search.

same thing for prince of persia.

any suggestions???

Normally it would show either the review or a link to the US review. Now it shows nothing. I've checked the US release and they seem to work fine, so I guess it's the link to the US review that doesn't work.
