This just in from engadget!!

This shows my point that the public "perception" is that Spidey 3 didn't live up to the hype in blu sales. UNLESS, sony is waiting until the numbers come out tommorrow to spin the box sales somehow???

Too bad Meet the Robinsons didn't do what everyone expected.

Parmount got realtime numbers direct from everyone of the companies they distribute too. I would say Sony probably did the same thing but there were 2 SKUs and Sony didn't say if they were combined or not. The SM boxset has sold better then the single SP3 for the last 2 weeks on Amazon.
is there a link saying that TF sold that much in the past 10 days?...

the fact that you only have 3 posts makes your whole post fishy..

I like your "numbers" you must have an "inside" source huh? I see that all of the Trolls are starting to appear. Too bad HD DUD is going to get OWNED tomorrow. Get more excuses ready, you will need them!

Look, if looking at data means making rational decisions then Paramount wouldn't have gone exclusive based off of rational data facts. So, you kinda make my point.

Even though all indications are the blu ray is the way to go, the people that make the critical decisions like paramount, warner bros aren't using rational data to make these decisions.

Paramount was a stink bomb that took us all by surprise, we should be warry of others to come.

pretty smart idea to offer rebates for purchasing multiple pixar titles. i know amazon had a $10 off deal for 2 titles.

if you can't see the negative spin here...I don't know what to say..

and the fact that they took the time to bash people supporting BD says it all...

TF selling 570k copies by now on BD is absurd....but I will say that TF on BD would have easily outsold TF on HD DVD....but the fact that they pulled that number out of thin air says it all...

most people that purchased the A2 on clearance, also picked up TF to go with it...

you are so focused on being unbiased that it's fudging with your head....

this is where you are being negative...

as long as we purchase the movies we want and BD keeps dominating HD-DVD on a weekly basis, there's nothing more we can do,..

why be a worry-wart all the time?...I am not scared of HD-DVD and their clearance price for the A2...and neither should you if you realize the strong backing that BD has...

I understand why you are being pessimistic...but as long as you support blu, there's nothing more we can do...

just sit back and enjoy your movies...

PS3's are selling faster as christmas approaches and I'm seeing more and more people perusing the BD aisles as I walk into stores as of late...

it's crazy how fast people are becoming more and more educated on the format and are even asking questions when they see others like myself looking at the same display....

not to mention the new PS3 commercials....the average customer is becoming more aware and are being lured in by high def movies...

I mean, there's nothing more we can do...so there's nothing to keep your guard up over....all you can do is purchase your favorite movies in Blu....

HD DVD is not only going to have to actually win a week of sales...but they need to sustain it for as long as we have....which is impossible, because if the tides managed to turn their way, we'd still win at least 1 week a month in a worst case scenario based on catalog titles alone....

Boring? Yea, thats why the thread has lasted all day.

Negative? I've admitted to being pesamistic, but I merely like to point out devils's advocate. I don't wear the blinders and can look at the bad and the good.

Trollish? I've got a few posts past trollish I believe.

I'm confused as to why this is good news when sites like engadgethd say its bad news because transformers sold more. why does everyone here say transformers sold so much less than all the media outlets say they do?

b/c the transformers actual sales numbers vary from 90k to 190k, with a 115k also being thrown around.

I don't think you're a troll....you could be one in disguise, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for the time being..

but my thoughts on you have been previously stated..
