Which is my favorite...

It's kinda hard to pick as I didn't see them that many times and didn't see "III" at all.
On top of that I've always confused the heck out of the three first films.

I really enjoyed "I" even though most of the fans probably hated that and the following two.
But I don't care, my vote goes to that one, I'm not sure which to pick of the first three.
I get the idea that 'The Empire Strikes Back' would be my favorite,
but I really have little idea of how they go again.
So it's time they come out on BD.

All I know about "II" is that I didn't really enjoy it.
I saw it like twice and my dad was sleeping back then I believe and I wasn't sure what was going on.
Guess it was pretty boring.
Looks like "III" is the most favorable of the prequels though.
So I'll have to see that one too of course.

By the way, that "501st Legion"-photo makes me think of a "Matrix"-scene or something.
I think if you'd put some Jedis there they'd be in major trouble with so many Vaders and Troopers and all. XD

Hey, look at what is becoming closer to reality.

From io9:

Quote:

Star Wars lightsaber replica causes blindness, cancer, and burns skin!

This laser is designed to look like a lightsaber from Star Wars, and it has enough power to destroy your retinas. It costs just $200 online and can burn your skin off. I have a very bad feeling about this.

The creation of Wicked Lasers Inc., in Hong Kong, the Spyder III Pro Arctic Series laser will ship anywhere in the world. Wicked Lasers writes on their website:

Quote:
The Artic emits a 445nm cool blue, ultra high power 1W beam which appears up to 4000% brighter than the Sonar's 405nm violet beam. This direct blue laser diode is the result of the evolution of laser technology. Less than one year ago, this laser would have cost thousands of dollars to build. Don't let the Arctic name fool you, this laser possesses the most burning capabilities of any portable laser in existence. That's why it's also the most dangerous laser ever created.
You're only supposed to use one of these while wearing safety goggles, and you're supposed to have read and agreed to Wicked Lasers' Class 4 Laser Hazard Acknowledgment Form.

According to Sky News in the UK, this laser is 1,000 times stronger than typical laser pointers, and can set skin on fire instantly.
And experts are warning that it can cause cancer. "Under no circumstances should they be on sale on the internet," says laser safety expert John Colton.

But Sky News adds that the danger, coupled with the Star Wars coolness, is just adding to nerds' excitement:

Quote:
News of the laser has sparked a flurry of excitement on social networking websites.

One person wrote: "Real lasers that resemble Star Wars lightsabres, that can burn skin, cut through plastic and ignite matches - yes please."

Another wrote: "The fact that it looks like a lightsabre is even cooler."

One more said: "I must have this. Birthday present anyone? I will KILL things, with FIRE."

Is it online anywhere? I cannot find a vid of it on youtube or anywhere else.

Here is a screenshot from it.

The movie has never been on home video in any format. It showed in IMAX theaters in 1996 and that was that.

PS: I never got to see it. For me, 1996 was "The Year of Hell".

Peter:

I was finally able to find a vid of it on Google from the title that you gave me. Its not that great looking, but at least its something.

Thanks again.

I'm not sure about the storm troopers, but the 15 Darth Vaders might be intimidating.

.
The only reason they look cool is all their nerdness is covered with helmets for the most part. Looks like they need to get some of those officers into helmets, lol.

Can you imagine the racket of 15 respirators? It would remind me too much of the time I spent working in ICU.
