Careful with the 7200 rpm drive. I think the heat that it creates might not be soo good, especially if you have an older model that creates a lot of heat.

I would go with a Hitachi drive, they have amazing tech support, and also have the coolest and quietest hard drives out there.

Be careful with these drives .. some their larger drives are not the standard height and probably won't fit.

I just went with a 500Gb external drive since my music collection would in no way fit on any 2.5 drives. Works flawless for less money. Just wish the PS3 had USB ports on the back of the system.
