No, it never is. Kind of like acting in a setting that's non-existent.

Ewan even said it was a nightmare.

I do recall there being a stand-in for "Dex" though, but it might have just been a normal guy or a cardboard cutout or something. Definitely didn't help him out though considering how big the character ended up being.

Hey Hey Hey... don´t get offended!
I don´t know how much you care for Star Wars. It´s only that I find it a little strange that people don´t even read the scrolls and still judge upon the movies ... but, no hard feelings!

I love that debate move. Say something inflammatory, bait a response, then accuse the responder of getting easily offended. lol

Anyway, I'm sure at some point in the last 9 years I read the scroll (I said scroll, not scrolls...again with the comprehension thing). My point was simply that after being in this thread and having people discuss the issues I have with AOTC, it suddenly made more sense to me and I find a better appreciation of the movie.

Thats got to be one awkward long suffering relationship....

Yoda looks like he fancies some bacon!
And, looks like Kermit fancies him some Jedi Master.

BTW, for all the puppet Yoda fans, guess they are getting it back for some added footage coming with the BD's:

Plus, we get an exclusive behind the scenes look at how the Yoda puppet was created:

It´s nice to see that you appreciate the movie more now that you gave it more of a chance ...

Don't know if it's been posted yet, but I glanced over theforce.net's site yesterday and supposedly there will be a saga blu ray preview in the next SW Insider. I don't receive that (don't really know what it is..guessing a fanzine), but maybe we're close to getting a little actual info about this release.

Hey, on the clones in the original trilogy subject, I actually know the answer. It was in the DK book for Episode 3. Basically, after Palpatine took over as Emperor, he told all of the cloning facilities to stop cloning. So, whatever clones that survived are in the OT, and the rest are regular people who went to the academy. Also, if any of u played, Force Unleashed 2, u will know that Kamino isn't for clone troops anymore

Yeah, I was going to post the same thing. Palpatine never liked using clones to begin with. Along with "alien" races, he wasn't a fan of clones. Like everything else, he used them if they were to his benefit. I don't remember where I know this from though. Maybe it was from the novel or a character bio that I'd read?

I didn't play Force Unleashed 2 (FU2 lol)... I have FU1. While the story interested me, I just couldn't get into it from a gaming standpoint. Too much of a button masher for my taste.

I've been meaning to mention his racism or the purging of non-human races etc. It's odd as he's surrounded by non-humans in the PT. I don't know where I read it either I haven't read that many Star Wars EU books or graphic novels, so where the notion came from I don't know.

At least I'm not the only one who knows this.

If you notice, there are no non-human species as part of the Empire in the OT. Of course that could be due to technical limitations circa 1977.

Vader's a dummy. Palpatine should've lived and been tried for his genocide and xenophobia. But nooooooooo! Vader had to pick him up and throw him down some sort of exhaust shaft. Selfish.

Ya, but that was the only way he could save his son and save himself from the darkside. Selfish, sure, but it saved the galaxy from the evil of the Empire, and thus fulfilling the prophecy

Ernest has a habit of taking anything relating to motion pictures far too seriously. Best to agree with his point and move on. Otherwise he may bust a blood vessel in his head.

Other classic lines:

Jar Jar: Weesa in deep doo doo!

Anakin: If master Obi Wan saw this he'd be very grumpy!

Anakin: I... I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead. Every single one of them... and not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals! I hate them! [Keeping in mind that sand people are actually human like creatures that live as scavengers]

Anakin: So have you, grown more beautiful... for a senator, I mean.

Anakin: It's all Obi-Wan's fault. He's jealous. He's holding me back.

Honestly, if there were better things to say to win the heart of a senator, I'd love to hear it.
