Make you wonder about the gaping loop holes Lucas has left in regards to the ships themselves.
According to my old books on the Star Wars role playing game from the 80's, the Star Destroyers have a crew of 30 000 but very few toilets It's a real drag working for the Empire, they are truly evil.

There's a reason the majority of the officers wear black. It doesn't show accidents.

And those Mouse droids running around the death stars and ship sare actually little roomba wet/dry vacs. Just in case.

I always said, if I was ever recruited as a stormtrooper, they better install an escape hatch for emergency moments

In the original movies I think they are combinations of both or at the very least very few of the clones left. They were probably purge by Palpatine over the 20 years in between. It's mostly new recruits and officers under those armors by then.

Also there is now way to know how long a human clone would actually be able to live? It's possible they have a very short life span.

The handbooks and such note that the OT Stormtrooper Corps is made up of both clones and recruits. And that the clones are for the most part, no longer just composed of Jango's progeny. Since he was dead, they couldn't gather any further genetic material from him. Probably by the time that the Empire was fully in power, and they no longer needed completely 100% loyal clones as the Jedi Purge had already occured, it was cheaper to simply pad the roster with recruits. Same with all the ships going to a cheaper mass produced style. Such as the TIE Fighters, which don't have Hyperdrives or require droids.

Personally I think all Troopers are Clones.
When you watch the saga in the correct order there is no real reason to believe they are not. Except their voices maybe... but they could be changed to Temuerra Morrisonīs in the Blu-Ray editions. I kind of like the idea of all of them being clones. Lucas once said, that they would have to be from the same host. (Jango)

On the features:
I think it is safe to assume we will be getting a bunch of deleted scenes for all of the Episodes. I guess they will be completed digitally the way they did with the deleted scenes of the prequels. Even those might get a makeover...

It's a bit hard to accept them as clone as they all have different format. I know it's not a huge deal but look at them and you just see they all have different height and sizes. So they are not all clones. Even in the scene on the Tantative IV, Vader clearly mention "see to it personaly commander" talking about retreiving the stolen plans. It's fair to assume one of the guys next to the excape pod was that commander in a stormtrooper armor.

He could have Temuerra Morrison redo all the voices but the way the troopers look in the original movies, I don't think it would be a good idea.

That sounds pretty cool... Iīd like to see some documentary on the influences of Star Wars... like Joseph Campbell & SW, Kurosawa & SW, Flash Gordon & SW etc etc ...

I don't think they're Clones in the OT, they're never mentioned and they're evidence which can be used against the Emperor. If Lucas changes any Stormtrooper lines to Temuerra Morrison's ADR it's a dealbreaker for me to be honest.

Unless we get the original's as well. You never know after the release fans will want the UOT and the OT 2004 SE's....

I think it would be a bad idea as well, they all look so different in the original. If they had the same voice it would be like it was a truly bad batch of clones Like cookies that come out of the oven not cooked all the same way

Remember that these versions will be THE CLOSEST TO LUCAS'S VISION and that is clearly evidence that we will be having some new stuff put back in.

Keep 'em coming mate. Otherwise we'll have nothing to talk about. On a personal level though I hope it's something that's left alone. I didn't like Boba's voiced been changed, it was electronic anyway he probably had a few different variations.
