I pre-ordered my complete weeks ago even though I don't really care for Episodes I and II that much. III-VI are worth the $89.99 on their own IMHO.

I pre-ordered my complete saga box set back in January on amazon.com for $89.99. I don't care what some fans and others say about the prequels I like them sure they are not prefect but I like all of the films and that's all that matters.

I can't believe somebody just called Star Wars extremely mediocre. I mean The Empire Strikes Back is loved by critics all around, not just fans.

Indeed Star Wars is loved by fans everywhere. Star Wars is not mediocre far from it. Anyone who says that needs a reality check.

The Original Trilogy is consisted of three Masterpieces the Newer Ones are All Mediocre though!

The newer ones are probably not as good and I can accept your opinion but when he says the whole Star Wars saga as "extremely mediocre" is really not making sense to me.

Anytime fans or other people say the prequel films are no good I don't like it. Sure the prequel films do have their flaws in them I do admit that but they are not as bad as everyone says they are. The prequels are just as enjoyable as the original trilogy and all 6 films are enjoyable.

Add me to the camp that actually enjoys the prequels as well. We went through this like 100 pages ago and I know it shocks new comers but there are actually many of us here, there and everywhere who really enjoy all films.

I really never got what was wrong with the Prequels. I love all the Episodes alike. I always liked Star Wars before the Prequels came out but the Prequels really set Star Wars on a new level and added much more depth to the overall story. If someone doesn´t see then maybe Star Wars isn´t for them.

I watched about 10 minutes of Clones on Friday because it was on. It was my first time watching any of the prequels in a while.

It was godawful. Bad acting. Bad direction. Bad dialogue.

And I'm a massively HUGE star wars fan. I have a freakin' tattoo.

There is very little redeeming about ANY of the prequels.

There´s nothing to say to that that hasn´t been said before but don´t you think it is a little strange to consider yourself fan of something you don´t like?
It´s like saying "I´m the biggest Beatles fan but I hate seven of their fourteen Albums ...on top of that I think that the final mixes of the Albums I like are garbage."

I´m not trying to convince anyone to like Star Wars. But can you please take it for what it is and decide whether you like it or you don´t.

Thats because they are seperate entities! No matter how much George wants to try to put them together they never will be, There is 16 years between the two....sorry but I don't get your half analogy at all.

Not only do they have thier flaws....they are just plain god awful save a few characters like Maul. Go watch Mr. Plinketts review with an open mind then come back here and tell us what you have learned. The greatness that is the UOT has nothing to do with the PT! If anything the PT is riding the coatails of the greatnesss that once was. LOTR was the masterpieces of that generation not the PT.

i take the prequel trilogy for what it is.....a series of movies that aren't in the same class as the originals....save MAYBE sith.....but are entertaining in their own right and give me more of the universe that i love!!!

the prequel trilogy was set to be doomed from the beginning, everyone was going to compare them to the originals and trash them if they weren't what they were expecting.

They're completely different. The OT is amazing and PT is shite. You don't have to convince me to like Star Wars. I *LOVE* Star Wars. I just don't like the prequel trilogy. George should have written the story and let someone else direct and write the screenplay.

I don't know why you have this insane need to constantly lump everything together as if you can't differentiate between the different films. It's almost as if the PT and the OT were created by a different person. I would argue that George was the best and worst thing to happen to Star Wars.

Funny that you should bring a Beatles analogy into it: the ORIGINAL mono mixes were just released :P :P

The newer films aren't terrible in there own right. We only see them that way when compared to the original. Don't get me wrong i prefer the original movies, but i am buying all six.

I don't buy that argument. They're bad...period. That's like saying X movie isn't so bad when you have The Godfather or Gone With the Wind to compare it to.

Well, hell, if we ONLY had Ishtar and 88 Minutes to compare the PT to, they might be better.
