It is only me but Yoda in "Episode I" was freaking Scary?

I can deal with Yoda in Episode V (and VI), but god, they really screwed up with him in Episode I.

For the last time and it's not name the system, if you want to fight about the UOT the changes that damaged the universe or all that bantha go to the appropriate thread. Otherwise the Death Star will suspend you to beyond the Christmas after the discs are released. Do I make myself clear? I grow tired of asking this so it will be the last time.

Lets stop fighting about the changes made to the films they are what they are you can't un-do them. Also the whole PT vs OT and UOT vs SE grows tiresome after a while. Let's get back on topic about the blu-ray box set this fighting and arguing is pointless.

doubt if it will be in this bluray set though.
Digital Yoda in Episode I was done long time ago, during production of Episode III. I don't see why it won't be on the blu-ray.

Yeah I don't think it would sell that well. I'm still thinking that a majority of people are unaware of the differences.

am I wrong?...

Most people are aware that Lucas made a lot of changes to Star Wars. But most would opt for the "Special Edition" if given the choice simply because it's updated with the fancy stuff. But they should be in the same set anyway.

Just an FYI ... I upgraded from a 46 in to a 59in just so I would have a better TV to watch Star Wars on. Just thought I'd throw something out there

It would've been nice if there was like a Steel Tin edition or someting of the release. Not that I'm complaining about the box, just saying someting special. Kind of like the Executor set on VHS,

Is anyone planning on buying locally and getting to the store early on release day? If my local BB matches Amazon Ill just grab it there and will show to work late.

All the preorders I've had with Amazon have shown up about 5:30 the day prior to release ... So I think Amazon is the way to go!!

As long as the Bluray release puppetizes Yoda in Ep. 2 and 3, I'll be happy.

Joking.
But in all seriousness, am I the only person on this thread that prefers the puppet Yoda over the digital?

I'm sticking with amazon. I have a Chase amazon.com rewards visa, and have built my blu-ray collection with amazon gift certificates. amazon will likely PM Best Buy on Lord of the Rings, which will give me a credit to put on the Star Wars set. Woot, woot!

Puppet in OT is absolutely fine. Leave that alone. But for consistency, CGI Yoda in PT all the way.

My wife and I are renovating our basement - my deadline is Sept 16th so I can host a Star Wars party on the 17th

I always buy locally for new releases, so I'll do it for this one.

It's funny as I am considering to upgrade my display and screen size...thinking how much better these Star Wars films would look.

Yeah, I do too a lot of times. Being in NY I dont save on sales tax anymore so that kills that angle. Plus, BB has been very good about matching the Amazon price on hot stuff so why not get it here and get it on release day? If I had Amazon prime maybe Id think differently but Ill just hit BB that morning and be good with it.

And, I have an Amazon Chase card that collects points like some of you but I also have a BB rewards card that collects points. Either way, I win, I guess.
