I'm not too keen on some of the characters chosen for the disc art. Luke isn't even on a disc but Lando is! WTF is up with that?

Here is who I would have chosen for each disc:
Episode 1: Qui-Gon
Episode 2: Palpatine
Episode 3: half Anakin half Vader face
Episode 4: Obi-Won stays
Episode 5: OT Yoda
Episode 6: Luke (he is the Jedi that returned after all)

Artoo and Threepio on the two extra discs are good. For the third extra disc I would have chosen a space shot or a ship or two. Lando is a smooth space pimp but he isn't disc worthy in my opinion.

I just feel that there are more characters that are important to the story that some that are featured on the discs. These choices seem pretty arbitrary to me.

Well it looks better than the plain dics that were shown a couple of weeks ago but yes the characters chosen is rather odd.

I would almost be happier with the plain discs and titles on them than what is shown in that picture.

Seems like very odd choices for the discs... it can't be final. None of them have Luke, Han, or Leia on them?

Threepio and Artoo on the bonus discs is actually a really good choice though

I can understand not having Han or Leia on any of the discs, but not having Luke on any of them is just ridiculous.

I am sure that his daughter chose the disk art also, just like she picked the box art too.

Definitely an odd selection of characters to include on this discs. I'm happy for the guy, but Lando? Dooku? I imagine this means Luke, Leia, Han, Jedi Anakin, younger Obi-Wan, and Padme are gonna be heavily featured throughout the packaging itself.

I've always interpreted the Jedi who returned as Anakin, the fallen Jedi, or even the Jedi Order in general.

The disc choices are odd. Where are Han, Luke, Leia, and Padme? They are certainly more crucial characters than Chewbacca, Count Dooku, and especially Lando.

First off i cant wait to see a Sonic Bomb on Blu Ray! lol. Second i think the disc art for Chewy, Darth and Yoda are amazing. Third, ppl need to stop *****ing about why Padme didnt freak out when she found out Anakin killed all those people. Its no different the Leia not reacting when she sees every single person she knows DIE! Also episode 1! Jar jar yes hes annoying sure but thats what people were saying about C-3po, R2 and Ewoks. Same goes for Anakin as a child, sure i guess hes annoying! But so were you at that age! Hes a kid for god sakes... What, is he supposed to be all bad ass and beating the hell out of his friends. Its not like he was born and immediately turned to the dark side. They have to show him that he was just like us and how he turned from a normal sweet kid to ROTJ.

I always thought that also.

The saga as a whole is s story of falling from grace and redemption.

Yeah I can see that as well. Luke needs to be on one of the discs so I figured Episode 6 was the best place for him as I feel Obi-Won and Yoda both deserve disc art as well and they both fit best on Episode 4 and 5 respectively.

I agree.

I do think that no matter who they ended up choosing, they would never satisfy all of us.

It is different because Leia didn't marry Tarken two days later.

Watto? If anyone deserves to be on the disc art it's Ben Quadinaros. He not only is the Boba Fett of the prequels, he IS Star Wars as far as I am concerned.

You never picked up on Leia's attraction toward Tarkin? The only reason she was withholding the location of the hidden Rebel Base was because she was hoping Tarkin might seduce the information out of her.
