Sorry if this has been asked before but, can someone explain to me why the numbers and percentages don't add up in the poll?

It's a multiple choice poll, so a single member can vote for as many options as he/she wants.

Here is a fun fact. They changed it to green, because they didn't think the blue stood out enough against the tattooine sky during the sail barge sequence. Personally, I prefer the green. It sets Luke apart from Kenobi and his father. Plus, when ROTJ came out only blue and red had been seen so when Luke ignited his saber it was like 'oh damn that's different'.

Plus, green is in the middle of the color spectrum (ROY G BIV). Notice that the Sith all have red lightsabers, while the Jedi have blue and green lightsabers. In Luke's spiritual journey, he starts with a blue lightsaber, but goes to green for his second. Notice how his clothes get darker as the trilogy progresses. In ANH, Luke is wearing all white. In ESB, he is wearing brown/tan. In ROTJ, he's wearing all black. All black clothes and a green, in the middle of the spectrum, lightsaber foreshadows that Luke may very well turn to the Dark Side at the end of this movie.

Come on, Reviewer! It's coming out in 2-2 1/2 weeks! Cannot wait!

Imo it would be good if Luke had his Jedi outfit when he was brought to the Emperor...

The audiences for Return of the Jedi were supposed wonder where Luke had been between the 2nd and 3rd films. We first see him all in black and he Force chokes a Gamorrean guard. We wonder if he's closing in on the Dark Side! Probably another reason they cut the lightsaber making scene. R2 (at the time) wouldn't be doing chores for a Sith!

I thought the sabers colours were rank related but can't find information to back that up.

Lukes blue lightsaber made an appearance in an early Jedi trailer.

Of course they did! Because they had to let the audience know that it was a trap! Otherwise, it would have been a trap

A lot of my friends have been talking lately, pretty much saying that they think this will be the best Blu-Ray release of the year.

Out of all of them, I seem to be the only one to disagree. Don't get me wrong, I think this will be ONE of the best Blu releases this year and I'm going to enjoy it for years to come.

However, I told most of my friends that I personally think Ben-Hur is going to be the best Blu-Ray release of 2011, in terms of packaging, collectible goodies, and bonus features as a whole.

Just wondering what someone else's thoughts on this may be. I am afraid I may be in the minority.

The sfx were limited back then and they were trying their best to create an 'epic' space battle (using a limited amount of models). Today's movies all used cgi which made it easier to add more fighters w/o much complication. It doesn't mean they have to fix everything for the blu-ray release. Like someone said above, it's moving so fast, most people wouldn't notice. Kind of like the Wampa's arm... most never noticed it before.
It isn't the "limited amount" of models, rather limitations of shooting: the camera track the models were on only went back so far.

Actually, I noticed it 2nd or 3rd time seeing it in the theater and it's bugged me ever since. I was hoping they fixed it for the BD, since there was a similar error they fixed earlier in the film: during the TIE parade of the Emperor's arrival, the first "quad" of TIE fighters disappeared a few frames before the shot ended.

There's another vanishing TIE error: when the fleets engage in battle and the one Y-Wing pilot goes "I'm hit!" and you see his fighter crash into a Star Destroyer, 3 TIE Interceptors cross the screen: the last one fades out before it makes it across. NOT fixed for the Special Edition.

Return of the Jedi received the least amount of recompositing because they ran out of time for the Special Edition theatrical releases (remember, initially it was only A New Hope that was going to be redone). It also has one of the most glaring errors that hasn't been fixed: the terrible lip-sync of the bluescreen shots of Han in the shuttle when they approach the Death Star II. "I don't know! Fly casual!" and other lines are seconds off from when Ford actually says the lines!

This will obviously be huge but to me Taxi Driver will likely remain the best release of the year. A flawless restoration, an outstanding package of extras and a price point that was practically paying me to take it off their hands?

That will be hard to beat.
