I'm torn up about it? Angry at you? How so? Where are you getting that?

And where are these "attacks" you're imagining? Cause commenting on the changes and seeing the standpoint Lucas is going for them isn't an attack. Calling the man crazy or blind from diabeties or some of the other just outlandish comments that have flown since last night is simply ridiculous. They're just movies. And while I'm sorry you didn't get the version you personally wanted, I'm not going to consider what he did release just because of that. Simple as that.

This is the only change I have ever really been concerned with, I mean if it is true, is it really necessary to add those lines in there?? I have like all the other changes from the 2004 versions, other than the color timing and frame issues and a few other things, but this is different, I've watched that scene many of times and love it every time I watch it. Words aren't needed to see that Vader is close to redemption, especially towards the last look at Luke, his head it cocked in a way that u know he feels concerned about his son. To me, that scene doesn't need any words, it speaks for itself

In the films? I always liked "You're lucky you don't taste very good" to the changed line, but it doesn't bug me one way or the other.

I prefer most of the changes. Or can go one way or the other on some of the others. But that's the only one I don't particularly like.

Doesn't ruin the movie for me. Since I love the films, warts and all. Even the original versions which had numerous glaring flaws.

Stay away from any film cell with the Senitype brand attatched to it. They will not be unique and will all be reproductions.

and @ Blu-Jawa, you pay $5 to be guaranteed a set on September 16th. So if the set is $89.99, you pay $5 + tax to pre-order, then $84.99 + tax when you pick the set up. No money is saved.
well it looked like a deal at the time. I wonder if other stores like Target and Walmart will offer the same. sometimes walmart will offer a comic book or something like that with the blu-ray.

After seeing what the final Blu-rays are going to be all I can say is thank goodness for Harmy's Despecialized Editions. Harmy, Adywan and Wookiee Groomer have done such fantastic work that everyone at ILM and LFL should really be ashamed of themselves. Seriously.

Just because they work for him doesn't mean they shouldn't offer suggestions...even if he is the decision maker. There's plenty of tactful ways to do it.

Ok, I will admit to being disappointed by that. Especially in regard to E3.

But his role in TPM and AotC were great. And in the end it's not his story, it's the Skywalker Family's.

And at least he plays a part in the founding of the Rebellion in the E3 deleted scenes. Wish that stuff was in the movie though.

So am I? Lucas gave in the the crying online (the only time he did) and he should have not. I am quite sure he still had more plans for Jar Jar in the other two movies but most likely change them because of all the crying over Jar Jar. Me I would have just keep going.

For those who were saying the blu-ray Falcon scene is the same as the "pre-SE" version of the scene... this comparison proves otherwise

In the blu-ray rip, Luke's saber is green up until the very last shot, on the VHS clip, Luke's saber is a blueish white throughout (the blue is much more apparent watching it on a TV through a VCR as opposed to YouTube, but you can see it when he moves the saber quickly)

Not sure where people are really seeing this "Green", it looks pretty much the same on my screen. Almost pure white.

It's certanly not Blue like it is in Empire Strikes Back. But the color is certainly closer to the original coloring than the DVD.

It's not any closer except in the last shot of my video

I rewatched mine and YouTube all but ruined it. Download the full 720 blu-ray rip... It's GREEN!

nmycon,

Those comparisons are so close, it's not worth even mentioning, honestly.

If so, why did you feel the need to color the saber in your avatar actually green... to make it look that way.

The two comparisons look pretty much the same. Pure white with a slight color tinge around the edge of the blade.

YouTube ruined the video... I may as well take it down and post a link on Megaupload or something like that...

That's like saying my nose is closer to my feet than my eyes. It's true, but they're both still far and the difference is negligible.
