From the pics I've seen in previous pages, its just a standard 3-disc Blu-Ray case, inside a slipbox.

My supplier got the saga box sets yesterday, but no separate trilogies. Perhaps complete saga is given distribution priority ?

As there's been plenty of Complete Saga unboxing videos, I'm SURE you can search & find one for the OT on YouTube

so

I decided to order from the UK since i wanted to get the Superman collection as well (since its so much cheaper from the UK) and the Scarface boxset

then the Superman anthology sells out from Amazon.co.uk and it doesn't seem like they'll be restocking

but i decide to wait a couple days anyway just in case they do

and so what happens?

the Star Wars collection goes up 10GBP in price and the Scarface box sells out and superman isn't back in stock

epic fail -_-

so, today, i notice that Star Wars' price drops 8GBP so i grabbed it and the regular scarface steel + the superman collection from a reseller

We NEED to THANK Matthew Wood for THIS!

"I don't even need to write up separate audio reviews for each of the films. You know why? Because these lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1 surround tracks are perfect. Perfect like, 'Yes. Hell yes. This is what sci-fi should sound like.' Perfect as in completely exemplary in all the ways you'd hope they'd be. Superlative. Grade-A. Certified Gold."

I find these unboxing video requests funny cause...is no one else "selfish" like me and just want to unbox it and be surprised and thrilled by themselves?

Well, he's among a remarkable lineup of guests for a convention in Dallas, TX, next month. You can find all the details right here.

YES! With our 6 year-olds too (if you are lucky enough to have one)!

I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on DVD with my 6 year-old boy last night -- fast-forwarding through the gross/scary parts, which he can see when he is 12 like I was -- and I tell you, he was singing the main score all the way to bed!

We laughed SO much, I cannot wait to share the Star Wars saga with him on Blu! He has watched much of them on DVD, but this weekend he is gonna sit down with Dad, and share the Experience of Star Wars with someone who experienced the magic when these movies came out!

Anyone else remember when the Original Trillogy came out as Special Editions in 1997? In a theater, people genuinely laugh during these movies. They are FUN, and that is why we've fallen in love with them for SO long!

Cannot wait!

Looking sooooo forward to getting my hands on it

Just wondering if anyone would be so kind to tell me if there's any special features from the dvds that didn't make the cut to blu-ray?

I know what you mean. Now, people just laugh at how ridiculous they've become. LOL!

I was 17 when the SEs first came out, but due to money issues, the only one I saw in theaters was "A New Hope". I do remember being very impressed with it, since I'd never seen the Death Star Trench on a big screen before. I'd seen the film countless times by then, but the experience was so very different. I loved it!

Actually, the crying ceases when George Lucas DOESN'T do things with his movies

Everyone should be aware that any discussions about Star Wars will have complaints/"crying" until Lucas remasters the original versions and puts them out. That will stop 95% of the complaining immediately. Doesn't matter what your opinion is on this matter or what side you argue, this is the truth of the situation. Until he does, you must avoid any and all topics about Star Wars if you cannot stand fan complaints.

Well my local Best Buy was finally listed as available and I pre-ordered my star wars set without a hitch! Didn't get the film cell, but that is ok!

But at least they'll be able to do so in a country that actually exists, unlike Belgium.

SO looking forward to THIS in the sound mix!

From the Blu-ray.com Star Wars Review:
"Lasers criss- crossing the soundfield. Spaceships swooshing in every direction, their pulsing engines roaring past with a kind of down-shifting Doppler Effect. Massive explosions that send concentric arcs of debris spreading out from front to back. The thunderous LFE roar of an Imperial Star Destroyer drifting overhead."

Surround Sound has SUCH potential, but only FEW movies actually take FULL ADVANTAGE!

Thanks Matthew Wood, and thanks Ben Burtt!!!

This sites review is up.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Star-.../14903/#Review

All I will say is thanks for all of the abuse. You know who you are.

To the rest. Enjoy.

Totally agreement on PQ for OT.
Tpm 1 mark less
AOTC 1 mark less
Rots 'reference quality'

All audio - 5 - sound familiar?

And remember, these are the review scores I think it will get. Remember

Lmao

I'm confused by this; what's so wrong with Belgium? Am I missing something here?
