I was going to get the complete saga set, but after the addition of dialogue at the end of Jedi, I decided enough was enough and I wasn't getting it. However a few days later I had a family emergency that brought a lot of things into focus for me. One of those was that for me it wasn't worth getting worked up over changes to Star Wars and its sequels any more. Life is just too short and tomorrow isn't guaranteed.

Long story short, I ordered the complete saga and it's currently in Illinois and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. This weekend will be one of the first weekends in nearly a month that me and my wife can just relax. You know what we're going to do? We're going to watch some Star Wars and enjoy every damn minute of it. Some minutes will probably more enjoyable than others though...

I'm perfectly content with waiting out the next 13 hours until I can make my way out to the wal-mart at midnight

But to answer your question, you won't find anyone putting it out early in the L.A. area, being as close to the studios and what not.

Shouldn't all of these where's my order posts be dumped in the deals section or something? This thread should be reserved for talking about the release itself ie mostly complaining

Like this???

I have never remembered a release being handled with such tight fists.

Yeah, I went to the website and saw that that's what it is.

If I see it isn't shipped by tomorrow morning, I'm canceling my order and going to the store. But somehow it'd be my luck that they'll ship it out some time today. They shipped X-Men last Thursday and I just got the damn thing today!

I highly doubt that Amazon would not have enough to complete all the orders. They know better. They still wouldn't be advertising the "order it in the next (amount of time) and get it on release date."

It has been a while since I complained....

Doesn't it bother everyone that Boba Fett was killed so easy? Wan't he supposed to be a bad ass?

I just received my email from BB that my order can be picked up tomorrow (On topic post).

Obviously that isn't true, otherwise the people replying who were confused as to what the hell you are talking about wouldn't have been confused in the first place.

Not anymore with his new voice. Now he just sounds like a spoiled whiny child. Maybe he's Anakin, too!

Default 1st Time Buying

I've never bought the Star Wars saga on DVD, VHS or any format before but have always liked the movies. Not a mega fan but enjoyed them.

With the release to blu-ray I think I'll be able to make the mega fan leap. I'm so excited for the killer audio and great picture (love blu-ray) and will be buying this ASAP tomorrow.

Super psyched to show my 3 year old son the pod racer scene too!

The Han Shoots First (a bit bummed on that change), Vader screaming "Nooooo" etc... just don't seem like that big of a deal. It's like 12 hours of movie that can be enjoyed beyond that stuff.

Can't wait to pick this up!!!!!!

THAT complaint has been sounded since 1983 when I saw this in the theater, so, no, you're not alone.

Well, he never encountered a Jedi as an adult bountyhunter before, and the rocket pack was their weak spot
