I've never bought from US Plastics, but I am OCD over having original cases and Casetopia offers both Elite and Vortex cases which are the original ones used by the studios.

Title should be changed to just STAR WARS and left open for us to discuss anything that has to do with Star Wars.

Snatched up my copy at HMV. Realize I paid $10 more for it than I would have at Future Shop/Best Buy but I'm in no mood to go driving around the rest of the weekend, so meh.

Won't have time to watch it this weekend anyway, maybe draw it out during the week. Can't wait.

P.S. This thread needs to reach 2000 before it shuts down, for sure.

Maybe it is something plot related? I know NOTHING about Star Wars. Literally nothing.

What he said. You'll lose the impact of a major plot point and subject of all of Star Wars if you watch I - III first not knowing anything about Star Wars.

If you have friends that are into Star Wars, watch with them, it'll bring a smile to their faces seeing you watch and react to the originals.

And the problem with that, as I said pages back, is that the "cameo" at the end of Jedi will make zero sense... but Lucas has so little hindsight to think of something like that. Watch them in order and you kill the surprise; watch them in release order and you see characters you have no idea who they are.

Oh well, it's not Citizen Kane, its only Star Wars.

I know!!!

THere was 5 copies of the Saga at my Target.

4 of them were wrapped so tight, there were PERMANENT INDENTATIONS on the side of the box from the wrapping!!!

Luckily I got the ONE COPY without any problems....

BEWARE EVERYONE IF YOU BUY IN STORE: MAKE SURE THE WRAPPING HASNT DAMAGED THE PACKAGING

I've watched I through III so far and am in the middle of IV (the last one for me for the day, since it's almost 1AM), I was actually excited watching ROTS for the first time since I saw it in the theater for the first time. The PQ and AQ were amazing and I just had a really good time watching the movies. I checked out that scene everyone was talking about on ANH where the audio supposedly drops out and nothing happens on my set. I'm using an LG player, not sure of the model off the top of my head. This is the best I've seen ANH look ever. I'll watch ESB and ROTJ on Sunday.

How so? What difference does it make who you see? It still makes perfect sense.

Question....... When i start one of the movies in the top right corner there is a picture of a video camera looking thing. It wont go away unless i press like fast forward or skip a scene and then press play. Anyone know what this is?

I just finished A New Hope, no skipping but seemed to be a little judder when R2 and 3PO left in the e pod for Tat.

All in all, all I can say is one word.

WOW!

Knocked my socks off, had the LG 47LX9500 set to at THX Bright Room 24FPS. It was like I had never seen THIS movie before.

Lots of things I had never seen before, will list them all at a later date.

Great Job!

That's BD-Live. George Lucas wants to see your reaction to all the changes.

Seriously, though, if it's what I think you're asking that's just a clock letting you know the disc is loading.

I grabbed this today, only because my wife said to get it. I started thinking, I should wait till it was onsale used.

Yes, I said the wife told me to get it. We were in line and I asked:

Me: Do you think I was silly coming up here to get this?
Wife: NO!!! Get it, I want to watch it.

We will get into it the whole thing starting tomorrow.
