II 3.8 3.8 4.5 5+++++++++
III 4.5 4.9 4.9 5
IV 3 4 4 4.8
V 3.7 4.8 4 5
VI 6.9 4.2 4 5

She watched the Saga from I-VI.

Her favorite characters are

1.Young Obi Wan
2. Han Solo
3. Luke Skywalker
4. Anakin when he turns to the dark side
5. R2-D2

Least favorite characters:

1. Shmi Skywalker
2. Chewie
3. Padme

Favorite scenes:

1. Obi Wan's speech after chopping Anakin's limbs
2. Anakin's confrontation with the younglings
3. Anakin is burning alive

She had never seen any of the movies before.
Needless to say, she didn't find anything to criticize about Vader's Nos, Obi Wan's scream, Blinking Ewok's and the like.

Did you watch it with anyone who had never seen them before, and what did they think of it?
Did you not post that a few pages ago?

And why would you want to? The character wasn't intended for you. Are you gonna also debate Barney's shade of purple?

Last I checked Barney didn't have a following of people who grew up with his show and remained fans for 30 years.

The fact that any character in a Star Wars movie can be compared to Barney is a sad thing indeed.

So, wait, did you actually sit down with her and quiz her either during or after watching the movies to get all of this "data"? This all seems way too specific to be info that was gathered from a casual conversation.

Man, this has been a really fun last few pages, but I gotta split. If I don't pay off Pizza the Hutt, I'm a dead man.

God willing, we'll all be back for the next trilogy: The Search for More Money.

I personally hate Barney's shade of purple. If it had been a bit darker I might not have minded his show that much. He is a sellout.

Those are some very exact ratings. How did Return of the Jedi get such a high rating for VFX???

We need a list of credentials and equipment....

Just pointing out something because I saw you reference him elsewhere and might not know...

If Barney shows up in the next Star Trek movie I would expect people to debate whether JJ went in the right direction with that choice.

Wouldn't you?

Yeah, I have to say I am a bit suspicious of his reporting here. If I asked my GF: "So, which Star Wars character was your favorite? Also what were your favorite scenes? Would you mind rating the PQ of the films for me as well?" I am pretty sure she would be rethinking her relationship and choice of signifigant other. I would probably not get any for a month, maybe longer if I threw in a Jar Jar quote....

Especially ratings like 4.4...?

That's pretty specific.

Once again, I'm not a Jar-Jar fan. But it's clear the first Prequel was intended as a kid's movie. That's not my ideal take on the material, but it's what he did. I honestly don't return to the first one all that much (although I may when my daughter is a little older and I can introduce Star Wars to her,) but no amount of lamenting the way the thing turned out is going to bend it into the shape I want it to be. I like to find the things in the other ones that I like.
