Tampa is leading again, 3-1 in the 4th. If this holds it'll be the 7th straight playoff game between Tampa and Texas where the road team won.

So the Det Reporters say 1 thing and NY reporters say another sounds to me like neither have a clue

A terrible call by the ump on a non-foul ball gives Murphy a continued at bat, 2 wild pitches later a run scores and he reaches first on the strikeout wild pitch. The ball was called foul, even though it dribbled in front of the plate fair.

So in the Yanks Rangers game, am i the only who saw this but when the rangers shortstop tagged Posoda out with his left glove hand, the ball was in his right hand, that shouldn't be an out and the run should of counted... Right

Man Doug Fister has been pitching lights out so far....not surprised though cause he's been on fire ever since the Tigers acquired him from the Mariners.

I believe he's like 8-1 with the Tigers with a 1.79 ERA. Go Tigers!!!

Fister had a decidedly mediocre career with Seattle. It's like Detroit got a completely different pitcher. Then again I suppose it's hard to pitch inspired when you're on a dead-end team with no run support like Seattle.

When we got Fister he had a 3.30 ERA problem was Seattle gave him no run support he lost like 12 games by 1-2 runs

From what I just read Sabathia is expected to pitch game 3 following the game 1 wash-out. So either way it looks like Sabathia and Verlander will only get one full start for this series.

His numbers were actually nearly identical home and away this season.

Home: 10-3 ERA 2.37
Away: 14-2 ERA 2.43
