Episode I was particularly bad at some points, like in the underwater Gungan city. But even Episode 3 had it's problems, even though it look the best; like when Obi-Wan jumps out of the starfighter at the beginning, and it's so totally and obviously CGI. I never noticed that before.

What do you guys think of this? Do you ever have this problem? I'm NOT anti-bluray or anything, but I would just like to hear other perspectives.

Don't ask why. When ol' Luca$ puts his hands in something, he trashes it.
star wars has became just a video game movie for younglings.

I don't know, what do you think? Why did Obiwan put a helmet on Luke's head in the Falcon with a shield down?? So their shield are re-tracted into the helmets now, big deal!!

I mean seriously are you guys just this weird or do you have to actually pick on everything that is done in the prequel? I think some of you really need to find new hobbies

How come Yoda's head isn't shaved? Is this another way for Luca$ to charge us more for those hairs in his head??

I find it hard to believe that you wasted brain cells thinking about something as ridiculous as that. To answer your question, who cares.

They are used for potty training between shots.

I wonder if they come in different sizes or they are of one-size-fits-all kind?

I really hate it when Lucas just lets questions like this hanging. Makes me look forward to his next version. Hopefully he will make things more clear in that one. A simple "noooo" would be sufficient.

Please don't drag my quote into your little anti-Lucas rant.

If neither condition (terrible effects or terrible movie) is met, then the sensory overload (between the giant screen and theatrical surround sound) and paying attention to the plot/dialogue will combine to make analysis of the relative visual quality almost impossible.

For movies like Star Wars that many people have watched countless times, you can pay somewhat less attention during a viewing (because you know exactly what's supposed to be happening at any given point) and thus have enough mental processing capacity to notice and analyze the visual flaws while the movie's playing.
This is a great explanation! I have never really thought about these type of things until I started by blu-rays, but it definitely makes sense.

So they can't see the training droid. Just like Luke training with the blast shield down. This is explained in the special features.

The question as to why the helmets are designed the way they are will be answered in Lucas's PT to the PT. 'The Very Large Phantom Helmet' will be the title of the first film. He will only release it IF we all give him money for the 3D verision of ATOC, and ATOC only.

I strongly encourage everyone NOT to see the 3D version of ATOC....

this is exactly what I'm thinking of.

But wait...What is the real meaning of ATOC ? A Ton Of Crap ? which makes sense in Luca$ universe. ^^

I have two questions:

1- Why did Django Fett hire an assassin to do his job, knowing that he is also a dreadful killer ? did he date a pretty girl this very day ?

2- Why Zam the assassins didn't throw a grenad through the window of the room where was sleeping Padme, instead of those stupid and useless worms ?

1 - because you wouldn't have a super cool rainy fistfight later in the movie
2 - because you wouldn't have a super cool nighttime city speeder chase

Why did Goldfinger strap Bond to a laser table instead of just shooting him?

And why did he have a laser table in the first place?

Because you would have had nothing to complaint about otherwise, see how nice Lucas is, he is not evil he is helping you achieve your Internet goal to complaint for no reason, he is helping you in your hobby
