True, but sadly the term "double-sided" used to be all that was needed to tell an original from a reprint/counterfeit but not anymore. Double-sided posters nowadays all seem to have the faded backside, so that is one good indicator. The poster will be double-sided but the back features a faded look to the backside than the front. Not all studios did this at the same, some did it earlier than others but from what I know it all started within the past 10 years or so for some.

That actually isn't uncommon, especially if he is either a dealer, or connected to a movie theater somehow, as theaters can sometimes order more posters for themselves for promotion but I suspect some theater employees who re-sell posters under the table often exploit that and order extras to sell. His other posters he has 2, or 3, or 10, etc.

Default Dark Knight Rises Trailer

I believe the first full trailer for Dark Knight Rises will be hitting online this week. I believe it is attached to Sherlock Holmes 2 in theaters, but I have heard no buzz online or anywhere confirming that. I am not referring to the six minute prologue that is attached to select screenings of Mission Impossible IV, but the actual trailer that should be in all theaters (or most).

A friend sent me a copy of it, some copy that a person recorded from a theater and I watched it and I am stoked for the film. Any reservation I had over Bane's voice from the poor quality leaked prologue footage or Youtube videos has been tossed out the window, clearly they will be cleaning it all up in post production but I found it very easy to understand in the trailer I saw. Hardy is going to do a great job as Bane. My guess is it will be online tomorrow or by Wednesday.

Default Wrath of the Titans Advance Style

Here is the advance style teaser for the upcoming sequel to Clash of the Titans called "Wrath of the Titans" which opens the end of March. I revised this posting with a much better quality image.

Looking at his auctions, I don't see any reason to doubt his/her Underworld posters aren't legit. The only thing so far that I saw that I take exception of are the single-sided character style posters he has listed for Thor. There were no such posters made for the domestic release, those could be international character styles, if that was the case, the seller should list them as such and not as U.S. styles. Single-sided for a film such as Thor would generally mean convention giveaways or advance screening giveaways, not saying they aren't original, but for the U.S. release they didn't do character advances.

I think you should be ok going with ordering the Underworld one from them, but if you email them asking for confirmation and they don't bother to respond, then personally, I wouldn't give them the business.

** By they way I am running really behind in my private messages but will respond to all as I can, its just quite hectic this time of year.
Yeah, it just says the Rear Window Origin DS I think, this seller needs to learn exactly what he's selling and title them correctly, lol.

Yeah I see what you mean but he does state in the item description up top it is for the re-release so at least they provided that bit of info. Oh and double-sided began in the late 80's, around 1988 I believe. Smaller studios such as Miramax that came along in the early to mid-90's didn't start doing double-sided until 1995 so films like Pulp Fiction, and The Crow never had double-sided originals made, only single-sided, which is why they are easily faked, especially Pulp Fiction.

I believe one of the first Miramax titles to get the double-sided treatment was The English Patient. I know they made both single and double-sided posters for that film. I have the advance for that double-sided, really nicely done poster, looking forward to the Blu-ray release next month for it.

I'm glad to hear that. When I watched the prologue, I had to strain my ears just to understand the voice. My GF had no clue at all what he was saying.

The character of Bane I believe is South American in the comics, I think in the prologue he is actually using a Russian accent for the scene perhaps, now that the official trailer is online as of yesterday, he is much easier to understand. Film looks great. Hobbit trailer hits tonight I believe, followed by the trailer for Prometheus on Thursday.

Default The Hobbit Teaser Advance Style

The first teaser trailer for The Hobbit was released last night and will be in theaters starting today with Tin Tin, here is the image of what the advance teaser poster is expected to look like as well. The film is still a year away, my guess is we will see three to four styles before the film is finally released.

I recently ordered a few posters from wbshop and recieved two that I didn't order. I called expecting to go through trous trying to get the ones I ordered at the 75 percent off they were when I ordered them. I was wrong. They toldme I could keep the ones I recieved in error and they would two day mailmethe others. Great work WB. Now if hey could just get the packaging right.

That Hobbit poster is sweet. I think I may get the advances this time.

That will more than likely never happen....remember they don't look at it as collector's items, etc, they just assume people will tack them on the walls, etc. While some may actually get a near-mint one in the mail, chances are most won't.
