I want the 20th anniversary collection in english. Where is the official announcment and how come play asia is the only store to know about it

Still going to purchase this even though I already have Metal Gear Solid 2 & Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Always wanted to own Metal Gear Solid for the PSX. I wonder if this will come out in the PAL territories.

Snake Eater was (surprisingly enough to me) my favorite MGS game. And one of my favorite games of all time as a matter of fact.

Same here. That game was so amazingly well done. I've always loved MGS, but that one blew me away more than any of the others.

Has anything been said about the length of 4? I beat 2 & 3 in about the exact same amount of time. Just curious since Kojima says they need BD 50.

Here is why I don't think that is possible......my Konami rep told me Sony paid for exclusive rights for this game.

If Sony is willing to pay for the rights my guess is this will NOT be coming to the X360 ever.

It makes me curious as to why Sony would pay for the exclusive rights to MGS4 over GTA IV. I mean maybe I've missed something. Maybe they just couldn't or something. But still... GTA IV pulls a lot more weight than MGS and I'm not sure why Sony didn't opt to keep GTA at least a timed exclusive.

As much as I loved Snake Eater, my favorite PS2/last gen game was either God of War 2 or Dragon Quest 8.

I don't think splitscreen has been publicly confirmed as in or out.

does anyone think its crucial to being a successful multiplayer game? or could MEO do well without split screen. id personally like to see it get in there to not only be more versatile, but to also introduce your friends that come over to play to the MGS world, rather than just playing by myself and boring them... whats your take?

I don't like the idea of walking around a corner and being forced to look at "porno" for 20 seconds...would get VERY annoying after a while... other than that I can't wait!

Hopefully it'll encourage players to stick together at least in pairs so you can knock some sense into each other if the heart SOP icon shows.

there's been ragdoll in the series since MGS2.

MGS3's ragdoll was pretty funny because it would max out at 4 ragdoll actors on screen at a time. so if you, for example, grenaded 7 guys at once, 4 would react as a ragdoll, and the other 3 would roll away fully stretched out and rigid.
