Anakin: Are you an angle.

Padme: Why yes, in fact I'm a 64 degree one.

One of mine would be

"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" - Anakin

Dark Lords of the Sith should never say 'from my point of view' - that was trying to bring in Obi Wan wayyy too much from Episode VI.
I agree w/you re: the quality of writing in 1-3 vs. 4-6. so to answer your question, I would say that ALL of the lines were stupid, and NONE were a "favorite". George Lucas is a hack.

The only thing stupid about these line is aren't enough of them from Darth Maul. IMO he should of had more lines.

“Tatooine is sparsely populated. If the trace was correct, I will find them quickly, Master.”

“At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.”

“Yes, my Master.”

Should've been talking a little smack while fighting the 2 Jedi.

i think they did Maul perfectly. He revealed so little of himself that it just fans salivate for more, which is what a movie should do. They did a similar thing with Boba Fett in the original trilogy however it was uninetentional, they gave maul a much better death though.

one word MIDICHLORINS

Why try and explain away the force. Why not let the force be the force. When I heard this in the movie there was one big audience groan.

Or the fact that the line "Only a Sith deals in absolutes" is... an absolute.

Yes, those lines of dialog are quite painful.

Just about half of the lines in Episode I are a joke... what a disgrace that movie is to the series.

Lame indeed. Sounded like a ripoff of L'Engle's A Wind in the Door.

I remember seeing an interview with Natalie Portman just after EPII released, and the question was asked about Lucas' directing style. She said he didn't really direct them, he only did exactly 6 takes of every scene and that was it. Of course, she said it in a manner that was PC as to not disrespect Lucas, but her point was clear.

As sad as it sounds, I read somewhere that the only reason MIDICHLORINS were added into the movies was to prevent overzealous fans from making a religion out of the force (similar to Scientology which, correct me if I am wrong, originated from a work of fiction). The article said that MIDICHLORINS made the whole force thing to outlandish, which would discourage anyone from trying to make a religion out of it.

funny...one of my favorites is when Luke screams NOOOOOOOOOO!! when he finds out that Darth Vader is his father..

it was kind of corny looking back on it...but when I 1st saw it, it was greatness...the original movies sucked me in more than the new ones...

plus I feel like I've seen everything to a point where it's rare I see something refreshing...but when I was about 5...that was IT...
