Has anyone noticed these two pre-orders that came up today?? Wonder what 20th Century Fox is doing/planning?

While my Complete Saga set I still desperate for a release of the theatrical version of Blu, now that George is "gone" I keep hoping its possible...

Probably the same set cheaper with "regular" packaging, possibly no extras discs.

Last I remembered, it was Lucasfilms that PAID Fox to distribute Star Wars. All sales profits still go to LF. And George Lucas is very persistent on releasing his special edition trilogy.

Disney on the other hand, might see things differently. Whether or not they'd invest in releasing the UOT on BD remains to be seen.

But their focus now seems to be creating new Star Wars content more than milking the legacy.

I found these on the Fox website and am still wondering what they are doing? The only thing I noticed was it says Blu-ray+DVD but there is nothing in the description

They're probably reissues of the current sets.

With that cover art, it looks like re-issues with DVD. Fantastic.

They look pretty good but not enough detail on whats different about these. Looks like blu-ray & DVD combos

Gone but not forgotten. Wouldn't be surprised if he negotiated a no release on the theatrical when he sold them off. That way he can get another load of $$$$ when they come back to him in 10 years asking to do it.

We can hate him but you have to admire the guy for holding on to his convictions!!

I thought for sure these were going to be steelbooks ala the UK releases. Wonder what the DVD copies will be (the DVD versions and to some consent the OOT)?
