We adopted as we couldn't have kids. We got divorced when she was 4. I had visitation rights and saw her twice a week, but that ended soon thereafter. Make a long story short...there was a three-year battle and I haven't seen her since. That was 17 years ago.

Soon Michelle will be 3 and I'll be 39. Honestly, I wish I would have had her 10 years earlier. I am exhausted, and when I sit on the floor to play with her, it takes me close to ten minutes to get up. Took her to the park today, and I'm still working this smoker's cough out of my system; sadly, I've never smoked.

This is his second marriage and his wife is 20-25 years younger (not sure of the exact age difference). It's her first marriage and I'm guessing she wanted a child, which is not to say he didn't.
