This LEGO set proposal is based on the popular American sitcom The Big Bang Theory created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. The set represents the living room of Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter, which is the core location of the series. It's filled with geeky details accurate to the show including Sheldon's board, the Green Lantern lantern, the Rubik's cube tissue box, the DNA model, and more! Stay tuned for future updates of the project!

The whole gang: Howard with NES belt buckle and rocket, Bernadette, Amy, Sheldon with Green Lantern, Leonard, Penny and Rajesh with Cinnamon!

We like to give You a vote in which shirt we give Sheldon. We selected four of his most characteristic shirts. Let us know on our campaign page which one you like best!

And that's my point exactly bsweetness. It wasn't your place to try and explain what you thought I was trying to say in my own post. There was an actual conversation/speculation that if Kaley got pregnant they'd write her out of the show earlier in this thread by some of the members. So when pmac posted a look alike picture I ask the question, "(And) Why are we (the members here) replacing Kaley again?" because I thought we were back on that subject again. Now that I've re-explained myself more clearly maybe we can get back on the rails and return to the topic.

Hey The Edge, are they the same company that did the Seattle Seahawks mini-figures. Never mind, my wife reminded me that was OYO that did those. Anyway, not sure if you collect these, but Diamond Select Toys are actually doing BBT Minimates later this year. If you are into these, you might check out this website. Really good guy. I'm kind of bummed that these aren't coming out sooner. I was hoping they'd come out around my anniversary or something.

There doesn't need to have been an event to end the third season to show time has passed. It is clearly stated by Leonard within the first five minutes of the season four premier that it has been four months.

Maybe the Green Lantern one if he's going to be coming with the Green Lantern's Green Lantern. Leonard should come with an Asthma inhaler. And is it just me, or does Penny look fat?

This matter has already been dropped. Please don't try and drudge it up again. We don't need to have that discussion go on any longer than it already has.

Not starting it up again just stating a fact as I watched the episode earlier.

Not to turn this into a mini-figure thread, but that's always the nice thing about Legos, Minimates, Kubricks, etc. They always come with a second face to change the character to.

Take it easy, guys. I was just confused when I read it. It doesn't matter whose fault it was. It's cleared and that's all that matters. It's no big deal.

I don't collect them, actually, but glad they exist for those who want them. I voted for these Cuusoo sets to be made, but I won't buy them, after seeing the horrible job that was done on the Back to the Future 'DeLorean Time Machine'. Lego could have made a better effort on that one.

Thank goodness, sick of seeing reruns. Although not looking forward to another episode featuring Professor Proton. And seeing as we just got introduced to Yvette, the fact that Bob Newhart is coming back just annoys me.

Excited for a brand-new episode this week. I swear, this sitcom has been taking too many breaks this season.

There is a podcast for this show, ran by two girls, Roxanne and Nicole, it's called The Big Bang Buzzcast, you can find it on The Stitcher Radio app, or iTunes if you prefer, or on their site The Big Bang Buzz.

Seriously. I said to the wife this morning that I was wondering how they're going to handle Penny's character with the recent decisions/changes she made, and ultimately how it'll affect her relationship with Leonard and the group. The wife said, "Huh?"

Today (This post was made on Feb 13) is 21 weeks since season started and they aired 15 episodes already...episodes were on almost every week besides Thanksgiving and over the holidays. You're being a bit too dramatic. 15/21 is 71% and thats without crediting the standard thanksgiving/holiday breaks (and olympics) which if you include those brings you up to almost 90%

Once upon a time, television seasons used to consist of at least 30 episodes. Nowadays we lose some of the time (that could be used to air new episodes) to meaningless crap like sports or award ceremonies.

Yes, she's a fan. That was just her initial reaction lol, to which I was just trying to make your point. It took her a few moments, then she caught on, whereas normally she'd be on the same page right away whenever I bring up anything Big Bang Theory related.

Don't the Olympics only run on NBC in the US? That doesn't stop other networks from airing new episodes of their shows. They probably decide to air reruns during that time because they figure more people will be tuning into the Olympics and they'd rather not compete for viewers. Just because you don't care about them doesn't mean that the rest of the country doesn't. And the Winter Olympics only happen once every four years, and it's only for two weeks, so why complain? It's not like they're cutting back their episode order. You're still getting the same amount of episodes you would in a non-Olympic happening year.

And episodes used to have a longer running time too. Half-hour shows used to run for 24-25 minutes, and hour-long shows used to run for 49-50 minutes. Now the average half-hour episode runs for 21:45 and the average hour-long episode runs for 42 minutes. With the occasional half-hour episode running just under 20 minutes and the occasional hour-long episode running just under 40 minutes. I don't know about you but I'm more concerned about the continuously dwindling running times per episode than the amount of episodes per season.

This is completely the case. Look at the scripted shows that aired new episodes against the Olympics. Here's the shows that aired original episodes from February 10-13:
2/10:
Almost Human - Series low 1.5 rating
The Following - Series low 1.6 rating
Hart of Dixie - Series low 0.3 rating
Beauty and the Beast - Series low 0.3 rating
Intelligence - 1.3 rating
2/11
Dads (2 episodes) - 1.2 rating, 1.0 rating
New Girl - Series low 1.3 rating
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Series low 1.2 rating
Killer Women - Series low 0.7 rating
2/12
Happy Fun Night - Series low 1.3 rating
2/13
Rake - 1.1 rating

In addition American Idol lost half a ratings point during the Olympics vs. the week prior to the Olympics. It just makes no sense to try and compete against the Olympics because your ratings are going to suffer, so it makes sense to take 2 weeks off from new episodes every 4 years in February.
