i believe that both can co-exist and both be successful....look at the discussion that myself and prerich have been having...some people prefer PC's due to the benefits of tweaking, some people like the ps3 for its convenience and ease of use. If there were to be one unit for all, you would be taking away both of the elements that drive people to the individual systems...

pc users will feel short changed due to the lack of tweeks that can be made and the ps3 users will feel hard done by because the ease of use will probably suffer...some people like complicated, some like simple....solution? offer products to appease both types of consumer
