PS3 problem, need help (I know how to fix it, but need help still)

Go get the composite cable that came with your PS3. This will alow you to veiw the XMB dashboard. From there, you should be able to reset you PS3's SCart settings back to HDMI. SCart is to change component out from YPbPr to RGB. This is why your screen is blank. Your PS3 is set to component out. HDMI should be smart enough to detect that you TV does not support 1080p, thus will display 1080i.

The composite cable is the most basic connector, i think it should work.

Then after your done changing back your PS3 to HDMi, you can reconnect your HDMI, and disconect composite. Problem solved.
