PS3 problem, need help (I know how to fix it, but need help still)

Based on my NTSC PS3 here it goes:

-Press left until the XMB stops clicking, press right once (Settings).
-Press down 6 times, then press x (Display settings)
-Press X (Adjust current settings)
-Now if your PS3 is defaulting to HDMI then press x (since it highlights your current choice (HDMI). If not then press up until it stops clicking and press the x (this would be the selection for HDMI).
-Now assuming your current resolution is 1080p it should be highlighted and thus press x to deselect. If 1080i was not selected press up once and press x to select 1080i.
-Press right once.
-Press x to confirm selections.
-Press O to skip the audio set-up.

Hopefully that works since this is on an NTSC PS3. GOOD LUCK!
