Default Do I need one?
I get my TV tomorrow, but I'm not getting a sound system or receiver quite yet.

Do I even NEED a power conditioner? BB kids say so and had a snazy demo, but I'm no convinced. However, I trust my BR.C folk very much.

I'm getting a 52" Bravia XBR4. Why do I even need a power conditioner. Is there some specific reason I need one if I already have power strips with surge protectors? Is there damage to be done to my new baby LCD if I DON'T have a clean power source?

Don't plan on doing a receiver or speaker for a while yet, so for right now I'm just looking to go basic...

Thoughts folks?
