I liked his performance in Shattered Glass quite a lot. He's a capable actor, but as I've said before - Lucas brings the worst out of talented people.

I realize they may have tried to make this look like the digitally filmed Ep. II and III, but it wasn't done exquisitely. Did Lucasflm do this transfer?
That's kind of what I was thinking-- the transfer may have been done that way to make the film look "glossier" like the digitally-shot Episodes II and III. Also, there would be a progression of PQ with each installment.

Pretty lame. It's still a massive improvement from the DVD, but that says more about how bad the DVD was then how good the Blu-Ray is.

I can't believe this, but I'd actually buy a new set with the prequels if they remastered Phantom Menace better and included the original '99 theatrical cut of the movie.

[Show spoiler]If Luke has been held captive by those Sith for the past 30 years like the rumors suggest then that means he never got to train Leia. He was captured almost immediately after ROTJ.

The travesty of a transfer that is the Blu-ray of Episode I really bummed me out when the Complete Set came out. I realize most people don't care given the film's poor reputation, but it was a quintessential part of my childhood, and I was really hoping for a proper filmic video presentation.

Luke was trained in his 20s not his 50s. I'm not sure a person can be successfully trained as a Jedi at her current age. If Luke had been able to start her training immediately after ROTJ then she could have been trained, but
[Show spoiler]according to the rumors Luke's been gone for 30 years
and she is almost 60. Leia's chances of being a Media are slim at best.

That particular rumor came from the ex-employee who also leaked the concept art of the villain, Han solo's new outfit, and the new storm trooper helmet. And Abrams was upset about it all leaking so I'd say that rumor is likely true.

Leia was using the Force in Jedi.

Hey - I'm sure Luke wasn't on that thing when it blew.

Where did you read that Abrams was upset about the alleged leaks?

I doubt the new Jedi order would be so strict to only train younglings. In fact, I think the old Jedi order was pretty stupid.

Adults are stubborn and "set in their ways" whereas children are more open to new ideas. That might be one reason for only training younglings.
