This is what is called electronic paper that bends and can be viewed at the beach in bright sunlight. One day a technology like this several decades from now well replace paper. Electronic paper is so cool, one could download thousands of books and magazines in color and it takes up the space of regular paper.
Sony’s electronic paper might use similar organic components that is used in OLED. In the future one day one might be able to place a 100 inch screen on the wall similar to wall paper.
