I've stated my knowledge of older films is certainly not up to par with modern films. Something I've desperately working on.

I don't know why this is surprising, most people have more exposure to movies made in their lifetime, lets say the last 30 years. I couldn't consider actors from the 50 or 60s as favourites as I haven't really seen enough movies with them in it, maybe a couple here or there but nothing compared to say the amount of movies I have seen with actors of the last 20 years.

I am as well... I figured each list would have at least 3-5 actors from the past (just looked back at my list and I have 5 right now) as I figure most people here are big film buffs. A lot of "the usual suspects" are yet to weigh in though so we will see... im also kind of shocked at PAcino being so high on everyines list.
