PS3 Trouble? - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

I haven't had any problems with my ps3 other then one game freeze with motorstorm, but other then that, no problems. I haven't read about any major issues with the ps3, unlike the 360 where microsoft suffered badly, no offense to any 360 fanboys. Sony made a quality piece of hardware.

Only issue I have is when is on a movie or game after about 5 mins or less it blinks for a second ( screen turns black and sound off ) ...just 1 time and it wont happen again until I turn it off and on again on another day...

i'm on my second ps3 b/c the first one would not sync up correctly with the controllers even w/ the usb cable. it was the oddest thing. i finally returned it back to best buy with out any issues as they gave me another one, no questions asked.

The PS3 has got to be the most advanced console & the reliability is sweet not having to fear a hardware failure evey time you turn it on like xbox360. I never had a freeze until i got a blu-tooth head set, & thats even very rare. Its time for some games, & I want to see the full potential of the PS3!

Not one issue yet. Mine is on 24/7 because if I am not playing or watchin gmovies it folds. Crazy reliable for months now.

couple lock ups and freezes but thats about it... gotta love it

Mine runs at a minimum 6 hours a day every day and often I leave it folding for days. (I just went on vacation and left it folding the whole time I was gone, no issues). Never had a problem with it, I have a headset but I haven't had the lock-up problem yet, knock on wood (or a dead 360

).

My one gripe is that it constantly re-signs into the PSN after I change what I am doing, like if I go from watching a Blu-Ray to playing a game, it says I am signed out and then it takes a stupid amount of time to sign back in.

It gets annoying.

But I guess it's better than seeing popup notifications.
